We just came back from camping! This is a nice camp and fairly clean. The reason for 4 stars is that we had to wait for almost 3 hours for the attendant to come back from wherever he was since we were not able to find our lot! The lot number was 55b and was occupied by the management. We start loading after 3 hours and manager came and we had to move! He directed us to another lot and we carried our canopies and tents that we already setup! The other reason was fire ants. There were no mention of it and we were all bitten by them. I was glad I had taken allergy pills and Benadrl cream. Otherwise, I would probably end up in the hospital since I was severely allergic and couldn’t breathe! Other than that,the site was amazing! Read moreThe good: nice size campground with some last minute sites available. Located near a bar/restaurant if you like that sort of thing. The bad: $32 per night for a small campsite, and more if you reserve online. All the waterfront sites were "reserved" though many had no-shows the next morning. The ugly: noisy! people arriving late Friday night were not considerate of other campers trying to sleep. Our site (45) was pretty trashy: broken glass and lots of small bits of garbage strewn about. Read moreWe came here for my 21st birthday, despite a storm we were able to find a safe, clean refuge here at the fair view camp site. The very first thing that we noticed was how well maintained the bathrooms were. I along with my partner and sister are all avid campers so I can not stress enough how hard it is to find a camp hosts as dedicated to the job. We met the camp host couple Amanda and Gerry, they made our tent site feel like home. Their hospitality will forever remain as a genuine good memory for all of my family. Really hope to see them...
