Camped there for many years. Once the owner moved in it has been falling apart. Pulled out at the end of last summer because of the drugs and violence. Every weekend police showed up multiple times. Friendly staff. Feel safe and welcome here. Close on the Patuxent river. Good fishing and crabbing. Lots to do for families and senior campers. Very affordable with full service electric, fresh water hook ups, waste dumps and trash drop offs. Bath house is clean and maintained daily. Showers are included. They have made some improvements in the last 2 years since we have been here. The host has always been helpful, the sites are improved. No sewage but they have a dump station. We are here about every 2 years to visit family and there are so few campgrounds in this area it can be difficult to find a spot to stay. This is a hidden jewel...
