Awesome park. Wide spaces. Big park but spaced out. Full timers have added decks and landscaping - showing they care. We were moved to a different spot from our reservation. But it worked out better for us. So that's a plus! The new pool and bathhouse are beautiful. Love the way the park meanders. It gives several choices for walking dogs. Our only concern was the lack of a storm shelter. There was a tornado warning (and sirens) when we were there. We did locate someone who told us there was a house associated with the park that had a basement. We suggest you confirm the plan when you arrive. Otherwise, we would definitely come bak.

You'd never know this place was so big if you weren't staying here. Tucked away within the corn is this super large and spacious park. Trees everywhere, lots of shade, you're not on top of your neighbors. They're building a recreation center with a pool and lots more RV sites. Everyone we encountered here was nice, for the most part. All the hook-ups did their job. Check out Psycho Silo Saloon while you're here! There's lots to walk as well with the canal being right there. This was a really nice park.

The site we got was super spacious and shaded, which was such a plus for such a hot weekend. Joan was such a pleasure and truly offered the best hospitality around. Staff were super helpful and we really appreciated Larry guiding us to our spot. It is a super quiet And tranquil environment. So if you’re looking to go party and drink all weekend, this is not the spot for you but on the other hand if you are looking to get away and enjoy nature in the quiet, this is definitely the campground for you.

Hickory Grove is an absolutely lovely campground! The sites are generous & the grounds are extremely well kept. This is a HUGE property that winds through the trees, I highly recommend taking a walk through to see it all. While most of the lots are seasonal, all are immaculate & you can really tell that everyone takes pride in their piece of this oasis!||||We were originally booked to stay 4 nights but extended 1 more. The day we arrived, our little cat escaped from our RV. We looked around for her for days and finally decided to make flyers & let the community know to keep an eye out for her. When I brought a flyer to the office, Joan didn’t just agree to hang it and watch for her, she contacted local animal control to arrange for me to borrow a live trap to help catch our girl. Next, Joan asked one of the seasonal residents (thank you Will & Carol!) to bring some of their live traps to give us a better chance of bringing her home. After 2 nights of traps, we were successful & were able to continue our adventure with our family intact! This isn’t just a lovely campground, Joan & Dave have created an incredible community and I cannot recommend...
