Sol Casita — Hotel in Puerto Rico

My boyfriend and I visited Sol Casita the first week of March 2020. We were suppose to stay 5 days but decided to leave early as we wanted to travel 2 hours north and didn't want to make the drive back. I initially found Sol Casita on Airbnb but booked directly through them because the room they offered on Airbnb did not have a private bathroom. The accommodations were ample but we have a bit of trouble with the mosquitoes and the bathroom layout itself. Mosquitoes made it difficult to get a restful nights sleep and you had to step up into the bathroom and step down out of it. It also had shutter doors which kinda made it difficult. The doors only went half way down. We wanted to try something different and this was definitely different. However, it wasn't all bad. This rental is situated on a boat dock with shared kitchen and lounging area. You will have access to the refrigerator, coffee maker, stove and toaster oven. I met some great people but also some annoying ones. When renting in a location such as this we should all be considerate of one another. AB$OLUTELY THE BE$T!! ... ...for Hosts !! ...for comfort ...for price ...for location ...for options ...for AC Elena and Zack know how to welcome you to their spotless private-dock hostel with sleeping options from shared room on 1st floor, large upper private rooms, to a 34' motorboat-bunk to float away cares. Cool open kitchen-hammock hangout for sunset... I opted for the shared bunk room...full size twin bed! (Oh those luxurious sheets and towels)...beautiful hand-crafted pallet bunks sturdy and most comfortable. Great to have the sweet May breeze from the dock so no need for sterile AC air option. West coast central location for all beaches/mountains minutes away. Experienced travelers, they care, and can truly help you choose the best for your trip. This was at the end of my trip unfortunately...many sleeplessness nights in other hostels and wasted days of driving ...wish I had known to COME HERE FIRST !!!! and use as home base. Hopefully I'm helping you have a better PR experience. Don't drive by it...bayside tall yellow house with white balcony. (I parked in store across the street to unload.)...

Guest customer service is the worst i have encountered, i would have given a negative star if it was available. 2 of my reservations were moved from December to November due to Software issues on Airbnb, the reservation couldn't be cancelled in time due to thanksgiving break mishaps. However, this listing owner takes into account the room charges through their cleaning charges and refused to even refund a cleaning fee of the house(though it was not used) . They will again charge the same cleaning fee to the next person who comes in and make away with 2 charges while they were not even used. Please be aware and careful of this kind of business by...
