I have stayed at this hotel 6 times in the 2018 year and a few times last year. I travel late into the night and they have helped me stay an extra 2 hrs for $5/hr. This time he charged $10/hr plus the cost of the room was more than it ever was before.(normally I pay $65) this time it cost me $92 to stay until 1pm instead of 11am. When I layed down on the bed, it broke in half through the frame.( It was previously broken and you could see the V shape) So I used the other bed. Room service 5 out of the 6 times woke me up at 11am because nobody told them that I paid until 1pm. Guess what, it's hard to go back to sleep for only an hr at that time. I count on my sleep, I drive until 11am the next day so I'm almost awake a full 24 hrs as it is. I usually spend $15-$20 at Nicks Grill and it's pretty good food. The employees are super friendly, even Nick filled a couple bottles of sauce for me to take back to Wisconsin. I had made a promise to bring him cheese and did this last stay. But I cant afford $92 for a nights stay, I come down here and return dogs from high kill shelters back to Wisconsin. My time is all voluntary, for the early wake ups and the changes in price everytime I stay I can not stay here anymore. I have talked to Nick about this and it is getting worse. Poor management/ownership is why they will lose my business. I wished that our relationship was worth more than that extra $20-$30...
Read moreCalled to confirm resv., no answer. Central reservation also got no answer. Checked in to 1st rm, hammering/banging going on in rm above not to mention the tub area was absolutely awful, so back to front desk to see if they have another rm. Was asked if we "used" the room! Upon opening door to rm #2 the mildew smell could knock you over, then there was the dirty bedspread and the carpet around the bathroom area was.....well either damaged, burned or just plain dirty. Keeping in mind room availability was very slim on this night we went back to front front desk for rm #3. I asked the lady for just a clean room with no banging, I didn't care if it was 1 or 2 beds, up or downstairs. She offered me the 1st room again. I had to explain to her that someone was working (hopefully upgrading) in the room above. Finally 3rd rm, no ice bucket, tub looked a bit cleaner than 1st rm, then lo & be-hold pulled back the spread and the blanket had footprint size burn places (multiple). Upside: A/C was icy cold, had new black-out drapes & new white towels. I would expect this from a low-end $30-$40 a night motel, but of course we paid much more, and keep in mind they charge by # of people. Motel 6, you should be ashamed to have your flag on this Pulaski, TN property....
Read moreNever had such a poor excuse for a motel stay. Front desk was totally unhelpful upon check-in. 2 rooms reserved under person who was going to pay for both rooms, but upon check-in, they charged the other person's card instead of the card the rooms were reserved in and "couldn't" (r.e. wouldn't) change it when asked. Saturday morning at 9am, I had to yell and pound the front desk numerous times to wake up the front desk employee who confirmed she would not change the charges. Further, WiFi was so slow my computer wouldn't connect. Front desk confirmed that it was slow and spotty. This is one of the necessary components for any hotel/motel chain - if it's included in the price, it's still a necessary component. Many people would not reserve the room in the first place if they knew they wouldn't have WiFi in the room.
Finally, you emailed this to me (D. Lund - the person who reserved the rooms and was supposed to pay), but you addressed the email to S. Lund (the person who's card got charged and they "couldn't" reverse the charges). You can't even get names correct in database even after I made it clear I was supposed to...
