Sierra Pelona Motel — Hotel in Quartz Hill

Me and my boyfriend visited this motel and it was bad. We called beforehand to get a smoke free room. The person on the phone said that they were all "smoke free". We arrived and the service wasn't good, we looked past it, expecting the room to be better than the service we had just received. We were so disappointed when we got in the room, the smell of smoking was very present and unpleasant. We tried to ignore it, but maybe about 10 minutes later, we started to feel nauseous. So we asked for a refund, the person in charge, was not happy, he did give us the refund (but made a small threat first ). Definitely NOT going back, I'd rather drive the extra miles and head closer to home. This place is...

I've stayed here a few times....and each time is so pleasant. The staff is great, very accommodating, the rooms are out-dated, but not dirty, or scummy. The rooms had a fridge and microwave. Basic televisions...i mean, nothing about this place is luxury. Not up scale or fancy. But if your looking for a more intimate stay without all the bells and whistles, maybe feel like disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of the city, then this is the place your looking for. Over 7 years stayed at this motel is not best but for being close to Santa Clarita for the price t u get what u pay for and is not the worse . I seen worse than this and for more money. When u get here bring food and liquids. Water there nothing close by but u could have a quite time . Also the movie that it was from here it was phycho. U may allways find a room at Sierra pelona motel...
