Was way too noisy from all the generators and smelly from all the campfires that smelled more like burning tires than wood. Lots of free space for a large group but then... you have a large group to put up with! Not exactly my idea of wilderness camping, and I'm one that loves the desert. This place has been loved to death I'm afraid.

Love this campground. 3rd year here on BLM land, this time with a group of 50 RVs (had 100 last year). About 6 miles from "The Big Tent" and an RV haven during the winter. Big sprawling sites for boondocking, many reasonable dump and fill locations nearby. Gathering at Quartzite has been a blast. Last night's moon rise was amazing.

Not many here, about 6 miles south of town. Generally very quiet. Great watching the sun setting behind the western mountains last night and rising behind the Eastern mountains this morning

Have visited and stayed at "Pipeline" several times now.. The latest was towards the end of RV Show 2024.. I was quite "packed" but still plenty of space for all.. Not a ton of generators and most were quiet type which was nice. with 600 watts on RV and 460 AH lithium genny not needed.

We were back past the wash on left side near the side wash.. it was mostly quiet except for the some of the loud truck on Hwy 95.. you turn at mile marker 99 where you see the makers for...

Roadrunner was the first place in Arizona that I have camped. I started out on a very positive note with the camp host who acquainted me with the park and with the rules. I found a nice little secluded that and enjoyed my 12 days there. I will camp there again without a doubt. Understand that this is diversified camping so there is no water, no hookups, and no garbage disposal...
