Camp Timanous — Hotel in Raymond

My son Calvin was a camper for five years and has been a counselor at Timanous for the past two. We met another kind Timanous family who shared their experience with us and we tried it having never been before. And we had a very positive experience with the Suitors who have led the camp for decades. Timanous has been life changing for Calvin and us. He has grown and experienced things we could never have offered him and has made lifelong friends and memories. The very best thing about Timanous are the people, the relationships, and the community created and sustained from this magical place. We are so grateful!

I attended in the late 60's / early 1970's and the experience had a profound impact on my life. I'm now in my mid 50's and I can say without reservation that my time at Camp Timanous was among some of the very best moments of my entire life. I am so thankful to my parents for making it possible to attend and I shall never, ever forget all the wonderful people I had the great pleasure to meet there.
