We had the best camp site in the place. It is the only designated ADA site in the campground and, for the most part, it is ADA compliant. It has a great concrete pad that was wonderful for my son's wheel chair. The view of the lake is amazing. There was a great concrete path down to a gorgeous panoramic view of Long Lake. The restrooms ARE ADA compliant, but the access TO them is not. Our camp site was at least 50 meters from the rest room by way of the gravel road or a path that is only accessible by maneuvering through a ditch. Thankfully, we were camping in our trailer and had plenty of black water storage since there are also not hook ups. The fire pit in the ADA site is also not accessible. There is no way for a person in a wheel chair to be able to sit close to the fire and enjoy it. There is a 4 inch (or so) high wooden curb around the concrete pad and huge boulders in the ground all the way around the fire pit. There is really only a space for one chair to fit close to the pit because the other open space is on a downhill slope. The camp host, Cindy, was delightful and very caring. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we couldn't have a...

A lot to like here, and it's all dry camping. But if you are used to metro area conveniences, be ready to drive 20+ mins, with Suncrest being the better option, vice Reardan or Wellpinit. It's a pretty drive, wherever you decide to go. Sites here are spaced nicely for semi-privacy; meaning, it's nice to have a quiet space, but it's also nice to see neighbors 30 yards away. A full camp is a safe camp this far out. If you have a travel trailer, don't get Site 4. It's set up is 'against the grain' for the 1-way road, and the only reason we made it in was because of our smaller RV. Big rigs? No way. They have these--I guess--decorative rocks to define each camp site. They're in the friggin' way, mostly. But I found one to baste with rented malt liquor in the dark of the night, wink wink. Otherwise, if you have booked online, it's plug and play. We got to our site; name on the reserved placard; and let the relaxation...

We had a group of about 20 girls and 5 adults and stayed in the group site for 4 days. There was plenty of space for several tents and parking for several cars. The view from the group site is amazing! I was disappointed, though, that the pavilion was as small as it was and only had 2 tables -- not enough for 25 people to all sit down to eat. It was nice to have water and electricity in the site but the water created a large puddle very quickly. The closest restroom was a pit toilet about 100 yards away and the flush toilets and showers were much further, though they were nice. It's a bit of a walk down the hill to the water, but the lake was warm and very clear! The swim area was great. We left the campsite spotless but we left it much cleaner than we found it. Same with...
