We were hoping to go camping there with tents but when we got there we couldn't figure out where you would put your tent. There is a LARGE area for RV parking in front of each site and it has a covered table area. Between each covered table area is about 5 feet of sagebrush space before the next site. So, you could put a tent between that space if you have a smallish one or on the hard gravel of the parking area. I think for someone who has an RV or trailer and wants to go on their motor toys on the dunes this is a great camping spot. For those who want to tent camp and enjoy the outdoors with their kids in a campsite ... Not a great...

Campground was great. Mosquitos were bad due to high lake levels. Two complaints: The equestrian parking lot is a waste of space. Turn it into camping overflow and let the equestrians use the main day lot. Second and biggest complaint: The hairpin turn to get from the parking lot to the dunes is ridiculous. It needs to be about 50 ft wider. It's terrifying, especially on a motorcycle, it's hard to turn sharp and hard to go slow on a two wheeler, it's a blind turn and you never know when there's going to be a sand rail coming in when you're going out. Please fix it! Tear out some of the...

Really cool campground! We tent camped in mid-June. We did not have a reservation and got to the campground around 11am. Every spot was filled, even the first come first serve spots. We chatted with the campground maintenance man, and he luckily found us a spot after some moving around! We easily fit 2 tents, 2 trucks, 2 trailers, and 2 side by sides on one site with room to spare. The awnings were amazing but spot 8 was pretty buggy with the swamp behind it. We were the only tent campers - it was surprisingly not dusty at all! Dunes are VERY close and...

Do you ever lay on your kayak/paddleboard out in the middle of the lake? It's one of the most relaxing things for me. Egin Lakes in St. Anthony is part of the St. Anthony Sand Dunes area. The largest sand dunes in Idaho. 🏕️ You can camp here. RV dump station, potable water, and electric. Rates are $25-$60 a night. 🌞Day use is $5 per car. $60/annual. 🐴 Horseback riding is also popular and you can park your horse trailer and OHV toys near Egin Lake at the Day Use Area. They even have an unloading ramp. 🛶 You can kayak here but it is a little bit of a walk on the sandy path to get to shore. 🌊 The water is shallow for many parts of the lake. Great for young kids. 🏖️ If you kayak out you can find a sandy beach apart from the one at the beginning. 🏍️ Stay off the riding trails if you are playing in the sand. Did you find us through reels? I'm Lisa and I love finding fun adventures to do in East Idaho. Nice camp host! 'Sand Crab' Just a bunch of open spots. Gravel. Nothing to separate you from your neighbors. I guess if you like dunes, this is the place to be. For me, it's just a decent overnight camping spot. A bit loud from neighbor noise. People coming and going with their dune buggies. $60 for A campsites $30 for B campsites $25 for C campsites Electric hook up only for all sites. Dump towards the end of the campground. Seems like there is a few spots that may have potable water but not at any individual sites.
