Every employee I had contact with at this hotel was friendly, helpful, and hard working. Especially the ladies in the breakfast room! There was a line out the door every day for food, and they kept it running SO WELL! Never running out of food, coffee, or the other accompaniments. Our room was very clean, and had everything we needed. It’s a pretty quiet area, with plenty of free parking on site. My only complaint is that the pool is open until midnight, but children of all ages are also allowed in the pool until midnight! We REALLY wanted to enjoy a swim or a soak in the hot tub at some point during our 3 night stay, but every time we tried to use the pool (besides early in the morning when we were on our way out to do activities), there were a dozen+ children in the pool. Which I totally understand is their right per the hotel rules, but even at 11PM, there were kids of all ages in there! It would be amazing if they at least had a single hour of “adults only” pool time from 11pm-midnight, for the adults that don’t have kids that are vacationing. And for the adults who have older kids in bed who want a little time to relax in the hot tub in quiet. (Photos of the pool I took around 11pm attached for reference.)

Stay away. The pool water is nasty…green, cloudy and had a funky smell…and the manager Joanne didn’t seem to care much if at all. (I ashamed to say my one of my daughters got in the pool before I had a chance to tell her not to). I reported it twice to her just in case she didn’t understand stand the first time. The pool should have been closed…not “we’ve let maintenance know”…anyone with a set of eyes and a brain would have done more. We only stayed the one night and checked out from our stay early since the reason we were there in the first place was to use the pool. The breakfast wasn’t great either…very stale bagels (like rocks), gross egg white omelette things…the best part about it was that we left the lobby early and returned to our room since there wasn’t enough seating for all of the guests. The room was alright…clean I guess but I didn’t find the mattress to be very comfortable. Sore shoulders in the morning. No pillows for the couch or chair. Just a miss all the way around. You can do much better in this area. Find another place to stay.

I don’t know where these 5 star reviews are coming from. Most of my reviews are positive but where do I start? The building and lobby look ok. The room itself hasn’t been updated in decades. Scratched and chipped old furniture, a desk chair that’s falling apart, an old style AC/heater control (no thermostat). Our room happened to be at the top of the steps from the lobby so we could hear noise from the lobby, people constantly running up and down the stairs and hallway noise. Someone knocked on our door at 11 pm, noisy people in the hallway at 2:30 am. The breakfast could have been decent but the room was taken over by a large group, and there was only one poor hard-working staff member trying to replenish the food and coffee. A fight almost broke out one morning. I tried to switch rooms the 2nd evening but was told (smugly) that they had no other rooms. As an IHG member, I thought it was embarrassingly bad for a Holiday Inn Express.

My son and I entered the location on the 25th of October and as we approached the desk the representative wasn’t inviting at all. She didn’t greet us, but immediately addressed my son. First and foremost if there’s an issue with any child it needs to be addressed with the parent, not the child. In addition to that I wasn’t acknowledged as a Diamond Elite customer and it seemed like she didn’t want to serve me nor my son. The trainer was no help at all, I asked the representative is this how you treat your Diamond Elite customers and she never responded. Her tone was unacceptable. When she asked for my ID, I explained that I was providing my card for incidentals. She took my card to the trainer as if the card was stolen. I’ve come to this location multiple times and I never have a problem when a different card is presented. After checking in as my son and I was bringing our things in I informed the representative that my son has a disability and still no apology. We can back down at 7:50 pm to get some more things and I hear her apologizing to a couple as they were checking in and I felt some kind of way. For her to do that it seemed discriminatory. I had an issue with the door to my room and she was down and I didn’t feel comfortable informing her about the door and I was uncomfortable the entire time there. I don’t think that it was right what she did, even if it was her fourth day there. The trainer should’ve stepped in the correct or help the situation, before escalating. Both individuals were in wrong, when I asked for the manager name the trainer walked away and representative mentioned the manager’s name with an arrogant tone (Like what is he going to do tone), I came down Saturday to see if the manager was in and I was told to call. I called and the same person that I had issues with answered the phone, she put me on hold, came back and told me that he was with a customer. I called back on the October 30th several times and the same person answered the phone. Out of all the visits at this location I’ve never been so uncomfortable nor have I had to compose a bad experience for this location. I’ve become very leery making future...

Once again I found myself here for business and once again it proved to be above my expectations. As people have stated again and again, the staff here is excellent! There are about 4 main desk staff members that are friendly, laid back and helpful. As others have also stated, everyone on the staff is friendly and willing to help.

About the room and the little items that really matter... The shower head is about 6 ft up on the wall and has a strong spray during all times of the day. The shower head has adjustable patterns and is not harsh on the skin. Everyone from short to tall will enjoy the shower. The refrigerator in the room keeps your items very cold. There are no worries about your items spoiling. The air conditioner is strong enough to keep your room as cold as you want it. The hotel has recently upgraded the cable programming and now has about all of the sports channels you could every want (MLB, NFL, Fox Sports 1, Comcast Sports, NHL, etc.) and also has many other channels. The room has the pillows labeled so you can choose between a soft and a firm pillow. As stated in a previous post, the workout facility is a little crowded with 3 people but does the job. I personally did not use the free shuttle service but witnessed many guests using the service to go to nearby restaurants. There are also places nearby that deliver. However, if you are like me, you ate a lot of pancakes in the month of August. [SIDE NOTE: Holiday Inn offered free late night pancakes in the month of August. This promotion was in August of 2015 and I took full advantage.] Breakfast - I cannot believe anyone would say the selection is limited. I have traveled to many hotels and this is by far one of the best breakfast meals offered. They even offer breakfast on the weekends. This is not a continental breakfast like most hotels offer. This is a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, warm cinnamon roles, pancakes, cereal, juice, milk, and plenty plenty more.

This property is doing an excellent job and has hired the right staff. There's no doubt that you will enjoy your room and your stay at...

We have stayed at this location many times since 2012. The housekeeping does an excellent job with keeping the rooms clean & fresh! The breakfast attendant also does an excellent job with keeping everything filled and ready for the morning rush. This time they had 3 people working the breakfast rush to keep tables clean and cleared, garbage emptied, and food replenished. The housekeeping/food attendant staff really work together as a team - great job to all!!! This time we did have a couple of issues with the front desk. While trying to make a reservation online, the site would not allow us to reserve a room so ended up calling. The lady quoted us one price while speaking to a coworker. She asked to place us on hold. It took several minutes on hold for the front desk to come up with a price that was almost $40 more per night than the online price. We asked if the hotel was selling out? Maybe that was the reason for the high price? (We have always paid within a certain amount per night on a weekend for this hotel) The hotel was not very busy that weekend. The lady on the phone didn't know why we were being charged so much - she had no control over the system and the pricing. It seemed very strange - not our usual easy booking experience with this hotel. Also there was a group of teen boys staying at the hotel that didn't seem to have adult supervision. They were diving and jumping into the pool and making it impossible for anyone to be in the pool/hot tub area. We did complain to the front desk twice - the person didn't seem to care. We were not the only ones who complained to the front desk about this group of teens. We will continue to enjoy this hotel. A few negative issues from this last trip are far outweighed by the excellent...
