It's up in the wooded mountain pretty far! Near some beautiful drives (Tail of the Dragon, Fontana dam, Cherokee Skyway) but far from pretty much everything else. Fully equipped cabin with coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and all the things needed to enjoy the stay. Coffee filters included. Gas grill, hot plate, window ac, space heater, towels, blankets, microwave and toaster oven, ice maker in the freezer! Stock up at Robbinsville on the way in. It is not convenient to have to go back and forth. Basically this is a one big room cabin with a separate bathroom with stand up shower. Half of the floorprint is screened in back porch with couches, ottoman, table and chairs. Great for a couple, maybe a little tight for more than four people? Ask for the video of the drive to the cabin to see past the rather confusing and harrowing drive up the mountain! Once you get there,,,, it's worth it!

Craig was so kind. The cabin was so thoughtfully stocked and the price was crazy good. Craig’s breakfast burritos filled us up for the biggest hikes I’ve ever done, and he even shared some of his homemade salsa. He grinds his own coffee beans too! This is a wonderful spot and I will tell everyone about it forever :)

Lovely beautiful cabin in the woods. Perfect accommodations! All the little things you need are available. The screened porch is THE perfect spot to relax. The surrounding area is beautiful for hiking and drives. Highly recommend.

My partner and I stayed in the loft cabin at cabins in the woods during our thru hike of the AT. Craig could not have been more accommodating. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed and was in a beautiful quiet space. The rate was incredibly affordable, especially when shared, but you can rent the cabin out for just yourself if you wanted. Breakfast burritos were on point and Craig even made us potatoes, OJ and coffee for just a little more. Craig even took us into town for all you can eat pizza and salad bar at the local Pizza spot (Fridays only) and to do our resupply for the Smokies. Other services provided are laundry, shuttles, slack packing and of course the breakfast burrito. What a great stay! Craig also made for excellent company (Lucy and Dash were equally excellent). Jim and...

Family and I absolutely loved it during our stay at this cabin and didn't want to leave. When we got here everyone went inside to check it out and came out a minute later with smiles from ear to ear. I knew we made a good choice at that time without saying a word. One thing to pass on to others from the city. Go out to the driveway after it gets good and dark outside and look straight up and you will see ALL the stars that you never get to see back home anymore due to light pollution. It's been a long long time since I've seen a sky like that and the first time for my daughter's. We sat out there quite awhile just...
