This place is NOT kids friendly. My daughter and I had come here several years ago before she had my grandkids and although it was somewhat rough, it had its charm and the place was nearly empty. The manager was a nice biker lady who was happy to.help us with everything. Fast forward a couple of years to us pulling up to the office excited to go swimming after a 5 hour drive. No one home. We waited for 20 minutes before finally heading to the bathrooms to change and go down to the river. After a couple of hours of calling without any answer we headed back to the office. Again no one was there. So we went into the bathrooms and changed and when we came back the same manager from last time came and apologized and gave us the keys. This time though she was so drunk she could barely tell us where the nearest gas station was. We went to our cabin. It was clean and comfy and so then we headed out to dinner at the new steakhouse in town. When we got back and finally went to bed we were awoken by motorcycle noise and yelling. The people staying in the rv right next to the office were having a party and werr being so loud. When my husband went and told the manager that our grandkids were sleeping he was told that they would keep it down. They didnt. The party continued until about 3 am and then the next day the party moved up to the common area that we are supposed to be able to hang out on as guests of the park. The people all seemed to be extremely under the influence. We packed up and headed to the camp down the street which was way more quiet and kid friendly. I hear there are new owners, but if you have little ones, don't take them to Three Sisters Lodging. It's a really seedy place and with all of the drunk people hanging out right next to the playground, I wouldn't leave your kids alone to play if you do end up deciding to rent a cabin. Not safe. ...

Read moreWe had a fun, relaxed vacation at Los Rios. From the moment we arrived, the lady in the office was so helpful and nice. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. Our arrival and departure was simple. We stayed in cabin #8. And, with our cabin located so close to the river, we spent more time in the water and less time packing up and traveling to the river. We visited during the week, so it wasn't too busy. There are a few trees close to one area of the river and we were able to find a shaded spot. But, on the weekends and around holidays, I would say it will be more crowded. So, you're definitely gonna want to bring a canopy, tent, umbrella or something for some shade. Suggestions for visiting Los Rios: Be sure to read their list of what to bring with you. It's a must if you want your stay to be worry free. There's not a lot of options for groceries once you're at Los Rios. There's a couple of restaurants, but no fast food. So, be sure to pack plenty of groceries, drinks and snacks. Don't forget to bring marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate, a lighter and sticks for s'mores! They have wood and ice for purchase at Los Rios, which is very convenient. Bring paper plates, plastic utensils and a knife for chopping. We forgot to bring a knife and we had to mangle our tomatoes for sandwiches. You'll also need to bring bowls if you'll be mixing anything or making salad. We also brought wet wipes, which was a huge help with sticky s'mores fingers! Bring bug spray. The only suggestion I have for Los Rios is to put a couple of extra trash bags in the cabin. We had an amazing time there and will definitely...
