Hal Orr's Inn — Hotel in Rocky Mount

ONLY 55 AMERICAN DOLLARS BUT The rooms are for demonstration only. When u get in the room see a TV but I probably won't get any channels and or it just won't work because they say " it just how it is" and "next time it might be better" which is actual words from the owners whom were called and came to the room to fix said issue. You see a microwave but it won't work, or it'll be dirty on the inside, missing the actual microwave plate or it'll have the food you warm up smelling foul. If you have a bath tub in the bathroom it won't drain properly. So your showering in a freaking pool of bathtub water that takes 3 hours to drain after the first person takes a shower, don't even get me started on the bath towels. Omfg.. WHAT EVER BATH TOWELS AND WASH CLOTHS U HAVE IN THE ROOM IS ALL THEY WILL GIVE YOU!!!! If two people check in a room with ONLY ONE WASH CLOTH they WILL NOT GIVE AN EXTRA WASH CLOTH FOR THE SECOND PERSON WHOM WAS INDICATED AT CHECK IN. I PERSONALLY JUST EXPERIENCED THIS. THE OWNER...... KEYWORD OWNER!!!!!! SAID "HE DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO UNLOCK THE LAUNDRY ROOM FOR THE WASH CLOTH". I EXPLAINED THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE WHEN WE CHECKED IN. THAT MADE NO DIFFERENCE TO HIM..... JUST ONE WASH CLOTH. WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN LOCATED ON THE PROPERTY IF THEY TRIED. THE ONLY THING THIS PLACE IS GOOD FOR IS TAKING YOUR MONEY AND HAVING U DEAL WITH THE NEXT HOURS UNTIL CHECK OUT TIME ON YOUR FREAKING OWN. NOW IM OTW TO WALGREENS TO BUY A WASH CLOTH BECAUSE THEY CAN'T PROVIDE A CLEAN WASH CLOTH FOR ME TO USE AFTER SPENDING 55 AMERICAN DOLLARS AT THIS SO CALLED PLACE OF SO CALLED...

Currently here. Literally the worse mistake every. This was a last minute stay because I knew I wasn’t going to make it back home to South Carolina in this weather(snow,sleet). Roaches, dirty sheets and pillows. Wall stains, dirty towels and rags! This place needs to do better! Was checking the bed for any type of bugs and saw braids that someone must be was taking out their head under the mattress and whoever makes the bed just nasty because I know they see the hair sitting there as soon as they lift...

Every year my husband and I used to take the kids to hal orrs for week vacation. This was approximately 40 years ago.. the prices were good it was a cheap-looking motel back then. It was clean but it was trashy at the same time. I can't even imagine what it looks like today but from some of these comments I get it.. they used to have a restaurant connected to it. It certainly wasn't the Ritz LOL. I was shocked to Google it tonight and see that it's still open after...
