We stayed in cabins 1 & 2 for 4 nights, they were very clean. Cabin 1 had two full size beds and each of those had a twin bunk on them, cabin 2 had one full with a twin bunk and a set of twin bunk beds. The refrigerators were the bigger dorm size with a freezer in the top, very clean and nice and the microwaves were clean! The ceiling fan in cabin 1 only worked on low, on high it sounded like someone was walking around. Cabin 2's fan worked great! They should put screen doors on the cabins as they are not air conditioned and got VERY hot. (We shut all of the lights off and left the door open while we were outside to cool it down before bed). Lots of trees around and a great breeze blowing through these lots! The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen on a campground! The pool and splash pad were great! Our group also had sites T1, 49, & 50. T1 was really nice, right across from the playground and bathrooms, 49 and 50 were right near the water, it kind of smelled bad and there was no breeze by these sites. The lake was pretty gross but it's not for swimming...we rented the paddle pontoon looking boats, one worked great the other not so well. The fishing was pretty good! Bingo was fun the first night but the person calling numbers the second night was in a bad mood or something, I took my kids and they couldn't keep up because he was calling the numbers so fast. He was asked several times to slow down and he didn't! Everyone had a ton of fun and I would recommend this place to anyone with kids...very...

This review will begin with the only negative, they need to get WiFi and Rome Pa needs a cell tower! If you want to escape it all, this is the place! There is no internet service, no cable tv and you have to drive to the entrance to get one bar on your cell phone. If you rely on these things, this is not your campground. ||As for the campground, it is wonderful. Very spacious sites with easy access. Common areas are very clean and well maintained. Plenty of scheduled activities, a nice lake, fabulous pool with splash pad that my grandson loved, and the staff was friendly and helpful.||We stayed in site 330 which is a “premium” site. It was almost perfectly horizontally level but has a slight incline front to back. It had a really large and well groomed lawn area between both adjoining sites. Great for the kids to throw a ball around, cornhole, etc. even the picnic tables were first class. We have a 36ft fifth wheel and the site still had plenty of remaining room.||The store was super clean and has a stand with ice cream and limited snacks. ||On a side note, we were there for a fireworks display which was quite impressive.||Overall, it was one of the nicer campgrounds we have been to in our 25+ years of camping. However, the lack of technological accessibility limits if/when we can return due to business commitments, which is...

My family spent a few days here and we could not be happier. Not only was the place beautiful but the staff and other campers were very friendly! There is a wide array of camping and cabin accommodations for you to choose from which is nice, from very simple to very nice. As my wife has said, you can go 'glamping' here, meaning a glorious kind of camping! My sister and brother in law chose the simplest cabin that came without a bathroom but they said that the public restroom and showers was very nice and clean. They say a place is only as nice as their bathroom!

The lake is beautiful. You can rent out canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats and more. It's 10$ an hour or 30 for the day. Fishing is very popular on the lake and the swimming pool is exceptional. It's heated along with a little kid water park. There are also playgrounds set up throughout the campground so that it's not very far away from any site. My little 2 year old boy loved this! It's an excellent place for kids. P.S. there is no cell phone coverage here which I think only adds to the vacation. You truly get to detox from...

Went here for our first ever family camping trip. It was great! The lake is stoked well, we caught three fish including a 12inch, 6-8LBS bass. The sites are nice and large, fire pit and table. The pool area could be bigger, but overall the kids enjoyed it! Beautiful place! The roads are all gravel, and it’s a large facility. If you have a golf cart or can rent one, it is needed here. They were all booked out of carts on a Tuesday check in, which even surprised the girl in the office at check in, so it might be time for them to invest in some more. If you have bikes (and proficient riders) to help get around, that would also work. The staff at the office is pleasant, not rude but not overly cheery and smiley, either. The grounds are beautiful, and well kept. The guys working the mowers were super pleasant and even offered to move our stuff back around the fire pit (they moved them to mow). Overall, this is a great place! We would definitely come back!

New favorite place! Spacious sites, friendly staff and very clean. Have been to other private campgrounds where the seasonal sites are not well kept. Their sites are very well kept. Great pool, said it was heated but it wasn’t, not sure if it normally is. The bathrooms and showers are ridiculously nice. You can tell they take pride in the campground. The vibe this place gives is perfect. One thing we noticed as well was everyone drove slowly and watched for kids. The only downfall was the Wi-Fi. You have to pay 4.99 for 24 hours or 7.99 for 48 hours (or something close to that) and the Wi-Fi does not really work. It is very very slow and one minute it will work well and the next minute it won’t work at all. Not really worth the money. It definitely does not work inside the camper. Other than the Wi-Fi issues this campground is our new favorite!
