Brandywine Inn — Hotel in Rosaryville

The worst motel experience ever. On 4/10/22, around 9:40 pm, my friend called to book a room for us. He was told to book in-person & told the front desk agent that we would be there within the next hr. When we arrived an hr later, a guest was trying to enter the office, but it was locked. There were also other guests waiting outside. We called the office, but no answer. Called again minutes later, but still no answer. After the 3rd time, the front desk agent answered and said she will be right there and for us to hold on. We tried to enter the office, but the door appeared to be locked. We waited and called again and she did not answer. We tried again and she answered and told us there was a certain way to open the door. We finally entered the office and were able to book a room, which was dirty (used towels and rags on the bathroom floor, used soap, etc). We were transferred to another room, but the TV did not work. After requesting a refund several times, they only gave us $15 back. Unfortunately, we had to stay because there were no other hotels available. I will not return to this...

Nice place beautifully renovated. But in my opinion I'm been a retired maintenance engineer some of the conditions of the room needs attention, the bathroom needs to be recaulk and the bathroom exhaust fan needs to be cleaned and the front door needs to have the striker plate and the keeper needs to be corrected so that the door will properly close. As well as the smoke detector that needs to be reattached. This place is not going to win any awards as far as how good the tile work is in the bathroom but if you want a fast clean friendly place I suggest this. Some of the hotels just south on 301 we're trying to charge me over $200, at this place, I got a room with a queen size bed last minute for only $80. The lady in the office was very friendly. It matters so much when you are greeted by a friendly face. I slept well and would go back to this place anytime.
