Camp to the sounds of the falls! This little campground was great! Very peaceful and quiet, save for the constant, albeit pleasant, rush of water over the falls on the other side of the hill. The waterfall sounds are a feature, not a bug! Speaking of bugs, we were actually surprised there were so *few* mosquitoes during our stay, which was in early August. The few bugs we had were quite manageable. The 5 sites are all first-come-first-served and are situated in a circle with a vault toilet structure in the middle. All sites appeared to be free of trash and each was equipped with a fire grate, a picnic table, and plenty of flat area for tents and parking. Note: this campground has no host and no services, not even potable water or a dumpster, so make sure to bring whatever you need including toilet paper and cash to pay for your site. Then be prepared to take your trash out with you! Thankfully we had done our research ahead of time and had no problems. The campground is an easy 5 minute walk from the falls, and every site had plenty of trees and natural features to explore, including some poison ivy on some of the edges, be careful! We stayed in site 4 and it was enormous! Word to the wise: Get here as close to midday as you can to get a site in the lower campground. We saw plenty of people rolling through at 4, 5, 6 pm after it was long full. Meanwhile, the ~5 sites in the upper campground above the falls were deserted despite easy access via a forest road that branches from the highway just to east. There's also a waste water dumping station and vault toilet in the upper campground. The upper campground too had peace and quiet and waterfall sounds and we may try to stay up there on our next visit instead! On the whole, this was a very cool campground; would camp again!

9/10 the mosquitoes were unbearable. If you have a netted shade canopy use that. The sound of the river very relaxing. There’s no water but they do have an outhouse. Very beautiful and mossy. Recommend hiking up upper falls there’s a swimming hole. First come first serve campground cash $10 per night in a drop box. You get cell service there too.

It’s the middle of july and nobody in this campground. It’s dry camping and it’s $10/night, looks like you get half price if you have a senior access pass. It’s beautiful, there is 1 longer spot that we backed our 19 ft trailer in, the rest are pretty short. I did get bitten while helping back up the trailer, but the bugs seem tolerable. Will update if it gets worse. I have Verizon and I have 2 bars here. There might be a bathroom but besides that I think it’s dry camping. We used the dump station and filled up potable water at Diamond...
