Douglas County Fairgrounds RV Park — Hotel in Roseburg

My family and I have been camping periodically at the fairgrounds for a couple of years now.

The grounds used to be well maintained, dump station was free to registered guests, WiFi was decent enough for steaming shows, you were allowed 1 tow vehicle before they started charging, shower access was from 8am to 8pm every day and if you needed to make a middle of the night trash run for whatever reason you could.

Now, you have to pay for the dump station no matter what, shower access is limited to if you can get the host to come and unlock them long enough for you to shower (which we have yet to be able to do the last couple times we've been to the park), you have to pay for ALL vehicles and if you have a 5th wheel or any other tow RV you have to keep the tow vehicle WITH the RV the entire stay (and yes from how the new rules read you are now charged for the tow vehicle even with a towed RV), the wifi has massive amount of restrictions on it now to the point its basically useless even if you manage to connect to it, most designated fire pits are fire hazards with the amount of growth in them, and recently they have been shutting off the water without notice during high heat days to the point the sheriff's had to come out and talk to the host. We've watched the female host harrass paying patrons based on the age of their RV, before doing a 180 with her attitude once she found out they weren't the people she thought they were.

If you want to file a complaint to the managers in the office for the fairgrounds, it will only cause you issues because they ARE the hosts.

This decline only started when the office managers took over being the hosts. I have no idea why they did since the previous host was decent at the job.

It's sad to see this RV park go downhill so quickly. They seriously need someone to take over hosting that will actually do the job properly if it is too much for...

I'm only giving this facility one star because we went to see the Colt Ford show last night and paid for the good seats so we could purposely see Colt Ford and not the back of somebody's head and there was people getting up from our row and from the very back row standing in front of us at the black rail in front of the stage you couldn't take any pictures or videos because you couldn't see! My friend had asked the guy at the entrance by the beer garden if they could please do something about it and he said nothing they can do! um ok then what's the point of having security?! And also what's the point of paying for front row seats and not being able to see and not just us but people behind not being able to see! What's the point on paying extra money for front row seats if you don't even have to pay for the front row if you can just come up from the very back and stand in front of the people that paid good money for those seats?! As far as I can tell we will never come back to this facility again I have and my friend has been to many concerts and anytime people stand in front like that securities on it and doesn't allow it! Never...

What a waste of time this place was. Spoke with the park manager last night who was very nice at the time, she said go ahead and park it and we can do the payment stuff tomorrow because SHE DIDNT WANT TO TAKE MY PAYMENT RIGHT AT THAT MOMENT even though I had cash in my hand ready to pay. So I DOUBLE confirmed it would be okay and told her that I would be gone all morning, She said no problem. Now I have to move out because I didn't get my payment (of 400$ cash) to them in time. THEN WHY DIDNT YOU TAKE MY MONEY WHEN I WANTED TO PAY?!?!? I absolutely Despise Liars, and this place seems to be managed by a TWO FACED LIAR. Unbelievable. And this place is ran by the county? There ya have it. Don't bother with this RV Park. At a Time In my life when I couldn't possibly have anything else go wrong, DC Fairgrounds RV Park proves me wrong! I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY...
