My family of 4 had a great time at HRC in Concan for Spring Break 2021. The cabins are sized nicely and have a full kitchen including fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, dishes, drinkable water, and all the cooking tools you’d need to prepare a great meal. We stayed in cabin #4 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One king sized bed, and a queen sized bunk bed. Cool patio with a picnic table and a very nice charcoal grill in the front.
The owners are attentive and very friendly, they really want everyone to enjoy their facility and use it as a base to make those special family moments.
We enjoyed the proximity to Garner State Park and spent the day hiking Old Baldy and swimming in the Frio River. Be sure and reserve a day pass through Texas Parks and Wildlife well in advance if you want to visit Garner. There are several outfitters in the area if you would like to go tubing. Other attractions are live music on the weekend at close by establishments too.
If you like the outdoors, but like to have some creature comforts too, Hunter’s Ridge Cabins is a great spot for a family getaway.

Where do I start...the owner, Wendy, was so kind and accomodating over the phone and helped me find the cabins and made me feel comfortable about stayng there when I am traveling by myself across Texas.
Next, within 5 minutes, I met the familly and was so comfortable and every single person made me feel like I was family who had just came back home to visit!
Trent, the other owner and Wendy's husband, cooked dinner that night! The most amazing chicken fry steak, mashed potatoes, gravy snd a piece of carrot cake for dessert! I had gone to watch the Frio Bat Flight and it was waiting for me when I got back! He made sure that the hot tub was heated and ready for me to relax after the amazing meal!
The entire experience impacted me in such a positive way that I have been telling anyone I talk to about my trip to Concan and the amazing time at the Hunters Ridge Cabins! I will be back and spend more time next trip!

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Hunters Ridge. From the reservation process and responsiveness of the owners to our check out, the place is amazing. As it stands it’s well worth every penny spent , but the owners have an even bigger vision they’re working towards that will make Hunters Ridge a truly unique and awesome Concan experience. We’re already looking at our Fall & Summer schedules to see how quickly we can book another trip. The cabins are immaculate and well stocked. The beds are all incredibly comfortable…even the pull out sofa is a memory foam mattress!! The grounds are fantastic including privacy, shade, firepits/grills, and swings with each cabin. Then there’s the pool+pavilion area that was just put in. Once that area is fully done it will be even more magical. When considering places to stay in Concan, I HIGHLY recommend Hunters...
