Taylor's Lakeside Retreat — Hotel in Sage Township

Just spent a week here for our family vacation and I think we've found our destination for the foreseeable future.

Firstly, the house itself is amazing! Roomy with a full finished basement and TONS of games to play -- table games, bumper pool, air hockey, etc. I think we played a new board game every night. There were enough rooms for everyone to have their own (And whoever gets the master suite is in for a treat!)

We spent so much time lounging in the back yard, swimming during the day and sitting around the campfire at night. Very relaxing.

And I have to mention the wildlife. This place is full of awesome animals! We saw 2 bald eagles (huge ones, just on our way into town), a couple of swans that would swim by each night, a kingfisher would often swing by to catch a meal, 2 cranes ate there breakfast right by the dock each morning, and the fish. This lake is great fishing! If you like a good panfish fry, this is the place for you. just paddle out a bit in the rowboat provided and every cast you'll come up with something.

Needless to say, this place is great. If I could give it 10...

The Taylor's house is perfect for a lake vacation. Both kitchens are very well stocked with all you need. The house was very clean and ready for us. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The basement is so much fun. The games are great and the late night crowd was able to play games and stay up as late as they wanted and did not bother the people upstairs sleeping. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus. We came home with just a few dirty clothes. The back yard and fire pit were probably the best. We had a fire every night and spent most days in the back yard playing corn hole and swimming. The kayak, paddle board, and row boat got lots of use. We had a great week at Taylor's Lakeside Retreat! We rented the home with family and had a range of ages, the house fit everyone's needs. The finished basement was perfect for playing games at night, or for those who wanted to stay up later. It was very clear that the owner takes pride in the home and everything was very well maintained. We tried out the some of the restaurant and ice cream recommendations they provided, and really enjoyed our time at the house and in the area. The house was clean, and well stocked. The sandy beach & swimming area were perfect for our kids, they had a blast....
