Very pretty park, nice nature trails and plenty of beach. Seems like most campers are RVs, here for longer term stays. Dogs are not allowed on the beach but there are a bunch of beach access points so you could perhaps sneak on with your dog without a problem. A few miles down the road there are public beaches that are dog friendly. The rule is that dogs must be on leash but if you go when it isn’t crowded you shouldn’t have a problem as long as you don’t run into a Karen. The campground has a nice nature trail. I’m only giving it 4 stars because any sounds of nature except for crickets at your camp site are drowned out by the hum of RV air conditioning units. I camped in a tent so it was kind of disappointing as it felt like I was camping between buildings buzzing with...

No Wifi in today's day and age it's lacking internet and Wifi and not dog friendly on the beaches set aside some land for your family pet they deserve to go to the Beach to, but St George Island State Park is a place where you can get away from the hustle and bustle and just sit back and relax once over the bridge built on or over the dunes the White sandy Beaches await you as your toes sink through the sands and your off for family fun in the Sun and a safe place to bring your family so what are you all waiting for pack the car bring some lunch and your fishing poles and try your luck at catching...

Spent two nights here in Jan, 2022 in a 30' Class C RV. What a surprise! Beautiful layout, clean bathhouses (2), short walk to a white sand beach that seems to go on forever. Quiet and dark sky. All the sites were taken so please do not tell anyone Nicest place we stayed in over 30 RV parks. Watch out for the...
