Very pretty park, nice nature trails and plenty of beach. Seems like most campers are RVs, here for longer term stays. Dogs are not allowed on the beach but there are a bunch of beach access points so you could perhaps sneak on with your dog without a problem. A few miles down the road there are public beaches that are dog friendly. The rule is that dogs must be on leash but if you go when it isn’t crowded you shouldn’t have a problem as long as you don’t run into a Karen. The campground has a nice nature trail. I’m only giving it 4 stars because any sounds of nature except for crickets at your camp site are drowned out by the hum of RV air conditioning units.
