Crystal Peak Lookout — Hotel in Saint Maries

Stayed here for a night in October. The area was gorgeous and the experience was great.

We just happened to stay during the first snowfall! The snow made the landscape beautiful. The only issue is it was 30 degrees and all there was to heat the tower was a wood burning stove. We had to wake up every couple hours to put more wood on the fire in order to stay warm. It would've been nice to have a propane space heater or equivalent to help...
