Lao Lao Resort offers much larger rooms than most hotels. They offer a kitchen nook with sink and fridge. But there is no cooking source other than an electric kettle. They offer tea cups and plates and really silly small utensils. They do not offer anything to make your tea or coffee in the room. Bring your own I guess. There is bar seating. This hotel offers a sitting area but the couch was not comfortable at all. Never really sat on it. The TVs are very small for the size of room (37" maybe). Since sitting on the bed to watch, it was hard to see on the other side of the room. The beds were okay comfort. Not high end mattresses but overall, not bad. The pillows are feather and really sucked!! Hate feather pillows and they gave me headaches, going flat and no support. Hotel does not offer alternate pillows or extra pillows either. The bathroom is divided by sliding wood doors but ours never closed right. Toilet and shower rooms were separated by sink area and both had glass doors. Bidet toilets were top...heated seat, heated water and air drying....very cool!! The best feature of all...the rain shower!!! Large room with a large rain shower head was the very best! We came for a golf vacation and this is a great place to golf. I would stay again. Just remember, it is further away from town and action of Garapan. But...nothing is ever far away on this...

Read moreThe hotel is the only one on this side of island. All hotels, restaurants and shopping are 20 to 30 minutes dive away. On the map it's on the edge of a small town but it's really just a scattering of modest houses on dirt roads. So there's nothing here but the golf course, which looks quite challenging. But if you want to just relax by the pool and read a book it's just great. After all, the tourist crowds are only a short drive away and you really need a car to stay here anyway even if you do arrive by their airport shuttle. The hotel is fairly new and an odd mix of tropical (wooden furniture) and post modern Scandinavian (stark white with lime green, yellow and orange). Our room was very large with a huge bed, small kitchen area (no microwave) and good sized bath with all the amenities. The shower is wonderful and has a big window so you can look out over the ocean. There are 2 pools, 2 Jacuzzis in a lush garden setting. Breakfast (included) is large with a choice of American or Chamorran. The staff is very attentive, even found us to let us know we had left the car lights on one evening. The only drawback is lack of wifi in he rooms although it is very strong in the lobby.||on the whole it was a great stay but it's not for those who want to be in the...
