We just got home from an amazing stay at Jadwin Canoe. The campground site was fantastic, the river trip was amazing, and the people working there weren't all just great at their jobs, they were a lot of fun too. All of which we've come to expect from this spectacular place, but this trip has it's own special character to it at then end.

As we were packing to leave I somehow managed to pull the side door off our minivan. I can't tell you how I did it, nor can I tell you how I ultimately fixed it. What I can tell you is the folks at Jadwin went far, far out of their way to help us with this mess. A combination of determination, local wisdom, possibly some divine intervention, and a bunch of luck, all came together to somehow get that door back on the van so we could go home. I cannot thank the Jadwin folks enough for their wonderful support.

I was sold on this place some time ago as it's a wonderful value and an amazing experience, but this was a whole different level of awesome.

I don't usually give reviews but I have to say the people who work here are awesome! We come every year and I have chosen to camp at other locations trying to be close to the river ( this is not on the river) I found I don't like the other camp sites available in area. I have floated with them for 10+ years now I tried to use Akers once and they lost my reservation. So needless to say Jadwins is my place for floating the current river. I have others for other rivers. Things to keep in mind. You do have to pay for the showers, they take quarters. The sites on the office side have cows that moo at night ( it's not to bad ) if you want the other side make your reservation a month or so in advance. They have ice cream in the store ( my kids always beg for ice cream) other than that you have your normal expense of you forget things. And be nice to the lady's they...
