I don’t know if this review is for JET Hospitality of for the Inn we stayed at in Salmon, Idaho, but this review is specifically for the Salmon, Idaho property. In a few words, I would NEVER stay there again. First, of all, I made my reservations many months before staying there. I expected a deposit but wasn’t told when making the reservation they bill for the whole stay 5 months before my arrival. When I got the credit card statement I called them and asked if that was a mistake. They said, “No.” they charge the whole amount because it’s a popular place and the Inn is really nice. They said they would be happy to cancel my reservation and refund me. Since I wanted a nice place I declined and kept the reservation. Fast forward 5 months a get to the Inn at 2:25 pm. The parking lot was paved many years ago, but because it has deteriorated they have added gravel to fill in holes and disguise the deterioration. I was on a touring motorcycle so it wasn’t easy to navigate. I go the the office and there is a girl outside. I’ll describe her because I don’t know her name. She had quite the attitude and I said as little as possible because I was tired, hot, and didn’t need a confrontation. She had one tooth missing in front and two missing on the side. I’m not casting dispersions on someone without a dental plan, but in lieu of a name that’s how to identify her. She also had relatively medium length dark hair and thin. From outside the office I asked if we could check in. She said check-in was not until 3 pm. I asked the time and she said it was 2:25. My friend asked if we could sit outside and wait. She said let me see if your room is ready and cleaned. Now picture this. This is a Motel shaped in a horseshoe so you can see the entire lot and every door. There are NO people parked in the lot and no one but us are there. She says I have your room ready as if to be doing us a big favor. She said your pre-paid and just stared at me. After what seemed like an eternity but was probably only 30 seconds I said, “Do we get a key?” She responded, “It’s in the door”. We started leaving and she said to my friend, “Thanks for being so polite” clearly indicating to me without saying to me that I wasn’t. This woman shouldn’t be in the hopitality business. She’s rude with an attitude. It was also evident that every room was likely ready because only 4 cars were in the parking lot when I left the next morning. Now, about the room… #14. It was quite small, fairly clean except for the grout around the tub that had mold. This was pretty gross. It has very good air conditioning but the AC had a loud rattling noise coming from it. Ear plugs took care of that, but my friend didn’t have ear plugs so it was quite noisey. The bed was firn, which I like but the matress was old as it had a rut in the middle where a lot of people had slept. All in all I rate this Motel a dump and would never stay here again due to the poor hotel attendant, dangerous parking lot for motorcycles, deposit policy, and lower quality of room than was advertised. They over promised and under delivered. The cost of the room was Marriott priced and Motel quality, at best. I stuck to better brand hotels the rest of my trip. I will have stayed in hotels 22 days of the last 60. This was my worst nights stay....

We were on a two week road trip and would prefer to support a local business as opposed to staying at a chain hotel or inn. Upon arrival, the inn appears to be going through a renovation.....which after seeing the older rooms, is a good thing. The current price of $130 a night vs the quality of the room is a bit excessive. We had been riding all day and were tired but should have asked to see the room before we committed. The front desk said they were closing the office for the evening and we didn't want to hold them up. (Note to the management, while checking in, there was a person unprofessionally "lying on the couch" playing a video game. Very, very unprofessional.)

When we got to our room, the screen on the door was ripped in half and I also noticed the shutters on the room next door was hanging off the rail, not a good first impression. After opening the door, the chair at the corner table looked like it was picked up off the road (seriously) and only two outlets in the room actually worked. Since I had work to do, I specifically inquired about the internet and cable when we checked in, we were assured it was available. After settling in, we discovered it wasn't working. They do provide a TV but without the ability to chrome cast or logging into your own streaming services, there was nothing to watch and without internet, I was unable to get any work done. We didn't even use the shower and left very early the next morning feeling a bit taken advantage of. We were offered no partial credit for the inconvenience.

We could have traveled further into town and spent the same amount of money for a higher quality room. I would love to support your business in the future once your remodel is complete but in the meantime, it seems only fair to...

Don't be fooled by the photos. This "inn" is easily one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. Here's the good news: the bed was half way decent and clean. The fridge and freezer set up was better than expected. Now for the bad: The bathroom was tiny and full of insects. A giant spider was hiding behind the toilet handle and there were insects stuck in corners and all throughout the windows. The sink and shower stall were damaged and need to be replaced, and if you are a person of substantial girth, you will find the shower stall to be a tight fit. There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom nor is there a blow dryer available. The towels, while laundered, had stains on them that made me not want to use them. The porch light is next to the main window and is left on all night, creating artificial light coming into your room whether you like it or not. Black out curtains should be on the front window. There is only 1 wobbly chair in the room; otherwise you sit on the bed. The size of the room is quite small and while there is AC, it worked sporadically throughout the evening. There is noise from the road that runs right in front of this property so it's not exactly a quiet stay. The management, while friendly enough, is a little rough around the edges and could use some professional training on how best to represent the property. All windows need to be replaced and cleaned from time to time, and pest control should be a priority. In general, I place this property in the "no-tell motel" category, which includes pay by the hour ones. I do not recommend...

I picked this motel to stay at because it had such awesome reviews. I have to say after reading such glowing reviews and staying there I was disappointed. First of all, the good stuff. Rachael was awesome to work with and friendly. Secondly, the room was very clean. Now for the not so good stuff. The price-I called direct thinking it might be cheaper but it was the same as I saw online. The room price was $166.50 for a king what they call bungalow. With fees it came to $195.38. This was not a $166 or $200 room with fees. It shouldn't have been more than $125 at tops. There was broken flooring in the bathroom. They tried to cover it up with a bath mat but every time I stepped on it I sank. There was only a sink in the bathroom. No counter space. I had to use the window seal, shelf above the toilet, and the top of the toilet itself to store or put out my things. There is no ice on the property and no garbage cans outside the rooms to throw away stuff from your vehicles. This property was not quiet. It's on a very busy road. I heard a chain saw going off early in the evening and a lot of traffic. If there has been accurate reviews I would not have stayed there for that price. I should have stayed at the Super 8 and saved at least $50.

We came to Salmon to see friends. Last minute we decided to stay our last night at a hotel. I noticed this place has vinyl flooring. (Huge pulse because we have a baby that crawls on the floor so I always try to find flooring I can wipe down for him. So much more sanitary than carpet) I called and the manager was amazing she got us a tent to stay in. Which I was so grateful for. But later called us to let us know that there was a room that was open also. My kids picked the room. It was very nice and clean. Our room was wolf themed. We definitely enjoyed showering the river off us. Next time I hope I can convince my kids to stay in the large tents. Because they were super cute and looked so fun. If you need a place to stay and you DONT want your typical loud hotel room with a crowded lobby this is your place. We enjoyed a quiet room with a cozy feel. Oh and there is a cute fishing pond across the street. And lots of food options close by Thank you so much.

First of all great little spot! This was my first time in Salmon, very beautiful area, very friendly folks all around. The room was clean and cozy and the beds were comfortable. One main thing that really stuck out to me that made the whole stay wholesome and awesome was the hand cooked $4 breakfast. Choice of eggs, toast, breakfast meat, and potatoes. Oh and also while you are sitting and enjoying this delicious meal there, next to the tdd able sits Buster. Buster is, I'm assuming the family dog, only nowadays Buster is dead and can barely move but is just so so sweet. I loved hanging out with him while I enjoyed a fantastic breakfast. Great place here, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMEND.
