Folks are friendly. Plenty of places to walk the dog, clean too. Near the highway. Two gas stations within a block. Two Mexican places across the street and about six more within 4 miles. Quiet. Safe. AAA and AARP discounts. Church on site Sundays. My most favorite amenity so far is the trash pick up! Tony is awesome! There are bins throughout for daily trash collection and they pick up several times throughout the day. You can also take larger trash to the dumpsters yourself at the front of the property. The lawn care is kept up as is the maintenance. Their pool is always clean, their Jacuzzi even cleaner. So many turtles to watch when at the pool area. It edges to the pond and at night they will come up to you at the pool fence. It's adorable. Front office ladies are all nice, everyone's sweet here. No drama and crazy like the previous place. No loud drunks racing their golf carts over speed bumps in front of your place at 1130pm. That was annoying and unsafe. This place is so quiet and peaceful. Love staying here. They rent cabins as well for those not wanting to go to a motel or Airbnb. Horseshoe tournaments. They also hold private events at the ballroom and have garage sales! Hoping to be there for the next one! Laundry on site, two locations on each side of the pond. Bathroom facilities next to both laundry areas. Picnic tables by the water if you don't wanna eat at home. Free Wi-Fi & free cable TV. Free water. Pay electric if doing month to month. Pets allowed with restrictions, of course. Ducks everywhere. All hours. Whooping cranes and blue herons in late spring. No grackles!! There's also a gym open until 8pm. For what; there's fresh air and like 15 beautiful blocks to walk around!!

RV Park in a good location for an overnight on our way to Corpus Christi. Staff accommodating at check-in. Our RV spot was almost too small for our 41’ fifth wheel. It was a very tight squeeze to the point where our bedroom slide hung over the grill used by our neighbors and his swing. The biggest disappointment came when we found several leftover doggy doodoos all over our area. We did reach out to the office post-trip to let them know but did not get any feedback. Easy to rectify with a site visit prior to guest arrival. Wish they would have given us a larger spot since park was not full.

Very clean and well-maintained RV Park. They are some wonderful sites which are doubled. And many others that are very tight. Wi-Fi, cable TV, 20 30 or 50 amp are available and all hookups. Cement slabs are very even well balanced many are full-time residents. Cable TV is analog and not digital. Laundry facilities extremely clean washrooms very clean. Laundry facilities paid by credit card only. On the weekends they offer breakfast. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Passport America between 25 and $33 otherwise between 50 and $66 per night

We signed in for a month in March of 2019 after reading reviews. We have been here a week+ and agree with only some of the reviews. On arrival our greeting was rather ho hum but courteous and efficient but prior to arrival I had called and we sort of agreed M row would be good for us. We agree now that M row was a good choice and used for a lot of the "transients" so we fit in well. We consider this park to be of good value on a monthly basis at about $20/day±. Anything over a week and a half consider the monthly rate and adjust your schedule.||||The entry to the park is easy with wide roads and the access to the sites is good with sweeping turns for our 55' length (with toad). We were escorted by golf cart and he helped to position us just perfect: Thanks for that.||||We would return to this RV park as there is a big mall type complex about 5 miles away, downtown is 12 miles and ingress/egress is excellent and just off I-37. The Shell and Valero at the exit both have diesel pumps that are easy to get into and out of so we filled up on arrival. Here are some comments:||As several reviewers have mention, the sites are tight when slides are deployed (about 7' between slides). ||While we can sometimes hear the road noise it is not objectionable not loud most of the time.||There is industry nearby but it is not objectionable to us at all.|| Trains do run close to the property and use their horns about 3 or 4 times per day and some of this is at night. It can be loud and woke us up the first couple of nights but now it does not.||* Laundry facilities are washers/dryers are like new and work well. Rooms can be "warm".||* Power is good at about 118 - 120 VAC.||* Water pressure is high at about 70 PSI so use a regulator. We have a water softner so we cannot comment on hardness.||* We think think the way they place RV's along M row is crazy. Empty spaces at the south end and packed like sardines - RV to RV to RV- on the north end. This is our biggest complaint.||** People seem friendly enough and there are a lot of "longer term" residents that work so they leave from 5:30 to 7 AM. Most are quiet and for the largest part we cannot complain about their courtesy. Not many, if any, human children are present but there are a lot of doggie children that do not...

Let me begin by saying we full time and had been staying on and off at this park as our home base since 2014. I’m sorry to say the prior Manager (deceased) would be rolling over in his grave if he saw what has become of the park he worked so hard to clean up, maintain and call a resort. I’m sorry to say this park has become an overgrown, cluttered and poorly managed park that should lose the name resort. In our travels around the country we have only felt uncomfortable in only one other RV park until our stay here at Braunig Lake RV Resort. We checked in on a Saturday for a 45 day stay and lasted less than 4 days. I am glad I did not prepay as the website wanted me to for the whole stay or I would have been out more than $1400. Our site was overgrown with weeds, clover and stickers as are most of the sites in the park. Our first evening we walked around and talked with several other guests. As I chatted with several guests, we were advised to make sure to lock anything left outside, there is no type of visible security here, Security lights are pretty much nonexistent and vehicles drive fast through the park, especially in the back on the hillside of the park. The rest rooms have been closed due to vandalism. Even though there is a small guard shack as you enter the park, do not be fooled as this is not used as a security gate. The park is easily accessed with no limit on who might come and go. And there seems to be a lot of come and go traffic after midnight! There is more come and go traffic over night that you would have to be blind not to know what might be going on. People pull up to a site, someone comes out, then the vehicle leaves. If you have several vehicles, trailers, equipment and want to store a house outside then this park is for you. It's really a shame what has become of this RV park as it used to be well maintained, had enough staff for the office, performed maintenance and all the ground keeping. I would NEVER recommend Braunig RV Resort to anyone. We are hopeful the out-of-state owners and manager will once again bring this park back to what it can be, remove those who are the problem and rejuvenate this park...
