I liked the cabin which was 11 with my friend Luis (don't know if he's my friend but it's ok). So when we got to out cabin our counselor was Mr. Malakye and he was viewing the rules but the kids from my school which is Rancho De La Nacion and the kids from other schools like Olivewood because of their outfit. The kids were messing around because there were so many people running, whistling, and banging on stuff in the bathroom and also they broke the emergency exit sign it was hanging and then like 2 to 3 days I believe the emergency exit sign was fixed and also it didn't light up so I don't know if it did. When Mr Malakye was done viewing the rules we were assigned to our rooms I think I was in room 114 the 11 is the cabin number and the 4 is the number of the room and when I was getting ready to set up by bed which was a bunkbed I was in the bottom bunk the same spot Luis sleeps and while I was doing that the kids which was the boys they were running around and going into people's rooms and bunkbed and when we were done setting up pur beds we were gonna wait to go out of our cabins to play at recess because of the boys were not following directions and after recess I ate lunch the food was good for dinner I liked the dessert but I think I don't like other foods that the dining hall served and on Friday whcih was the last day I was surprised that there were a few people in my room and when we head to breakfast I ate and then I got a bracelet for being good at camp and responsible and responsible so I really liked my experience at this camp I missed my friends and my counselor and everybody elese I wish I can go in the future and meet more people. I recommend you go especially of your interested to going camping it's good for 8-10 grade but older I don't know as what people said in...
Read moreCabin 7 has a bed bug infestation! Beware!!!! Likely others as well. I didn’t get the sense that the staff was doing preventative measures that would eradicate this issue completely. Staff admitted to knowing of an issue and said they “heat” up the rooms. There was no sense of urgency, a lot of young staff not understanding the implications of how disruptive this gets for families. Any one who has had issues with Bedbugs knows that’s heating up the rooms is not how to control them. They are very difficult to get rid of and the scariest thing is they transplant, meaning it very easy to take them home with you and infest your own household. With what I experienced it is very likely kids and families are coming here and rolling up sleeping bags /packing up clothes and taking them home. If I had not seen one crawling on my sleeping bag, my roommate would have rolled up her blanket which had three adult bed bugs filled with blood, and taken them home to her family. This is a very serious situation. Please beware. The picture I shared is the first one I found that had not fed yet, had I not found it crawling on my...
Read moreDo not let your child go to this camp!!!!! Definitely the worst. I repeat, Don't let your children go to this camp! Definitely the worst experience my sister had there. I want to start by mentioning that I am not the only review with a complaint on this page. Take the time to review the comments, because all that bad experiences are related to what happened to my sister. My sister was going to have a week's stay, she arrived on a Friday and the following Friday she would return. She started having a fever on a Tuesday and apparently the staff ignored the symptoms. It is worth mentioning that one of the in charge of the camp forced my sister to go for a walk while she could no longer handle her body. The employees never called my family to let us know that my sister was not in the best condition. They waited up to 2 days to let us know that she had a high fever. My sister spent 2 days of fever without attention to the point where she was already hallucinating and dehydrated. Another case we were mentioned is that the food is expired, many children noticed it and it is definitive that it is not a suitable place...
