Tinian Oceanview Hotel — Hotel in San Jose (Tinian)

We are a family of 2 adults with 2 teens; stayed here and it was a comfortable stay. Our room had 2 full size beds; placed back to back from each other to accommodate the horizontal container style. It's unique actually. This is why we chose this hotel to begin with, we wanted our teens to experience something different. The hotel rate is actually not cheap. You can probably get a regular hotel around the area cheaper or comparable to their rate but then again, we wanted something different and close to the beach. The overall room was pleasant, comfortable and clean. Even the bathroom. Includes a small table, mini fridge and TV. A/C is cold. Shower pressure was strong with consistent hot water. WiFi was strong. Nothing fancy. The beach is just steps away from the hotel. Convenient if you are here for the beach or for R&R. We were out to tour around the island so we didn't get to enjoy the beachside. We were pretty much out all day. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There's also special parking at the back for guests. Safe. Water bottles are not included here nor do they provide toothbrushes, shampoo etc. They did provide towels which are freshly laundered and clean. ||Overall, a clean and comfortable, no frills hotel. Serves its purpose for us. We wouldn't mind staying here again...

The hotel is basically converted shipping containers. Was a little nervous about noise with the metal walls but other than the occasional coming and going on the metal stairs the noise was fine (and a definite improvement over another Tinian hotel where I was awakened by a rooster crow at four in the morning. ) even though I had neighbors I didn’t hear them at all.

The nearby beaches are fantastic for a walk or a swim. Especially a cute little cove plus beach with stairs not far away.

The fridge/ freezer was very cold.

Only a couple things to note the outlets are European style plugs (circular w two round prongs). They gave me a converter to use for free which was nice. no bedside lamp for reading. The rooms are long and narrow with the beds back to back. (Nice big beds too btw). Next time I go I will bring a small battery operated lamp to...

This is all about the location. It is right at the beach.

This is a conex box hotel. The rooms are very clean but it is not spacious and is very simple. The bed is large and comfortable.

The staff is awesome. There are no amenities but they will help you with anything you need. We had beer and they bought us a cooler and ice and would. Ot let us pay them.
