Lavender Country House — Hotel in Sandersville

My Alaska family recently took a trip to meet my Georgia family. We had the pleasure of staying at the bed and breakfast, Lavender Country-House located in the quaint city of Tennille Georgia.

The property is in an excellent location - on a 50-acre working farm with a pecan orchard and a fishing pond. Two words I’d use to describe the grounds – quiet and relaxing. The Sandersville/Tennille area has NOTHING else like this.

I couldn't have asked for more! Our stay at Lavender Country House was perfect! Ann, the owner, thought of everything from the modern décor of each cozy room, to her delicious English breakfasts and cups of coffee in the mornings, all the way down to the fluffy comfy bath robes.

My Georgia friends and family whatever your lodging needs may be – business or a nice quiet get way - y’all go see, Ms. Ann, I highly and 1000000% recommend Lavender Country-House. She was the perfect host and made our stay the perfect home...

I can't recommend any place more highly. I've stayed at many hotels, AirBnBs, and even other Bed and Breakfast places, but none of them have been as nice as Lavender Country House. Ann is a fantastic host, and her service is beyond excellent. The gorgeous lake is perfect for fishing, kayaking (which are provided), or just sitting and watching the sunset by. The whole place is immaculately clean, and very well maintained. The food is wonderful as well - Ann is a great cook!

LCH was one of the best places I've ever stayed, not only when compared to other places in the area, but truly a five star stay period.

I had an excellent time at Lavender Country House. The property itself is beautiful, with scores of pecan trees, a lake, and a large deck and yard for recreation. The rooms were amazing and very clean, and Ann, the owner, was extremely attentive to our needs. The breakfasts she prepared were delicious and she was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She also helped us get into the lake when we used her kayaks. I highly recommend LCH to anyone travelling...
