The campground was great, but we were treated rudely by the camp host if that is what she was. She had on a ranger type outfit. We arrived at noon to spend the afternoon with our daughters family. We parked our car in the space next to their campsite which was empty and not reserved. At 6:30 she came by and said we had to pay the $22 camping fee. We were leaving in 30 minutes and had no intentions of camping. Said she had been there all day and saw our car. She could have told us to move it elsewhere in the beginning. As far as we know, she pocketed the money. It was a frustrating end to a fun day at the beautiful campground. We certainly weren't trying to get by...
Read moreThe area is 5 stars, hands down. But I've been coming to this spot for several years now and your experience can vary depending on who's running the campground. We let the people know we were above them, they left but within 10 minutes someone else had taken their place and we had bullets whizzing...

Easy to obtain in Estacada or on clackamas county...
