Beautiful closed campground for now. I visited 5/13/19 after hiking the extremely difficult green canyon way trail to Devils Peak Lookout. Nice day use area. Looked like a fairly big primitive campground. Has vaulted toilets, checked one of the bathrooms and it was open. Did not stay the night as the campground is still closed. Beautiful spots right next to the Salmon River. Lots of hiking options. There have been some recent break ins (in cars) at the nearby parking at Salmon River...

The camp host was great. He does an excellent job of keeping the bathrooms and Campground spotless. We camped at site #10 with nice river access right on the Salmon River.
