I've been here about a dozen times. Some nice views, right along the PCT, has fire pits, and a vault toilet AND picnic tables. Sometimes it can be windy. We brought extra rations of soda and snacks for the thru hikers (I believe this spot is around mile 500 from Mexico, on the way to Canada). I was camping in my roof top tent when a bear came through a few of the camps, so you'll want to be aware of that. The restroom is just a pit toilet, and angry buzzing wasps live down inside the pit. Disturb them at your own risk! To make matters worse, the campground is covered with aggressive red fire ants that will tear you and your children apart! There is really nothing to do here, and it's too hot to enjoy during the day. If you do camp here, you must pay $30 for an adventure pass ahead of time, but there are many less expensive places to camp with better facilities....
