Really lovely camping area, close to the road but you're still nestled among trees. Lots of little walking and hiking trails near by, visitor center within walking or biking distance. First come first serve spots available, clean camp spots, fires of all kinds are banned, propane and similar fuel permitted, pretty quiet, playground for kids... Overall really nice spot.
Be prepared for rain during monsoon season if you're not in a camper.
