This place is a dump! My daughter, our well-behaved bernese mountain dog, and I stayed here last night for a little mother/daughter trip. We stayed in the Aspen Grove tent, and while the tent and all things inside were great (beding was soft and good quality), the rest of the property left a lot to be desired. The home is a serious hoarding situation. Unclean, unsanitary, packed with stuff. It's bad. The host was MIA the entire time. We walked around the whole property a couple of times, looking for her when we had a couple of questions, and it was like we were the only souls there. We couldn't get help to use the grill (we brought food to grill), so we ended up grabbing something at a restaurant. The campfire was never started at sundown. We brought stuff for s'mores, and my daughter was really disappointed. The host was MIA in the morning, too. We were looking forward to farm fresh eggs for breakfast. We went inside several times during breakfast time, and the host was never there. Ended up leaving at 9am to get breakfast at a restaurant. The property is a literal dump. Boxes and trash piled up in trenches. I understand composting on a ranch... but this wasn't that. Plastic doesn't compost. The tent on top of the trampoline was resting on top of a board over a trench. It looked really unsafe. Overall, I'm just really shocked by the previous positive reviews of this place. It's not what we experienced at all. My daughter was in tears. Thanks for ruining our girls' trip.. although I guess it was quite the adventure! .. Edited to add: I have no idea where you were, but you absolutely were not present the several times we tried in the evening or in the morning. We were by the swings at 7:30am waiting for breakfast around 8am. We went inside the house about every 15 minutes from 8-9am. I didn't think I needed to text/call a B&B host to get hospitality. We just gave up after trying to locate you several times. We were outside most of the time, evening and morning, and it was completely silent aside for two people in the morning that we saw in passing, otherwise not a soul to be found. So I don't know how you had a full house and camp. Makes no sense. 🤔

We were extras for The Chosen TV show which films near here and wanted to be close in preparation for the long filming days. We stayed in the large RV: The bed was comfortable, the oven was handy for some baked goods, it was nice to unwind after filming on the couch and the chair, and the owner, Lynn, was friendly and accommodating. For me, I didn’t like the RV living. I like to have all the lights with bulbs and working. I like to pull a shade open and have it work easily and stay in place. I like to be able to easily slide the window open. I like to turn the water on and have hot water and water pressure. These nuances of RV living may be adventurous for some, but I know now they’re not for me. The property was not like in the pictures on the website (they must have been taken years ago). The interior of the RV was worn down, the property was full of old bikes, security screen door, cardboard boxes all over the yard, an old camper shell, and the house had so much stuff everywhere it was like being in a hoarder’s house. It was irrigation day and one of the trailers was right in a place where it completely flooded around it until the ditch could be dug to let the water flow. I didn’t have much contact with the other tenants and don’t know what the rooms in the house, the tents, or the glamping was like. I just can’t recommend it to anyone.

Truly one of the most wonderful homes and people we've encountered. Lynn is an exceptional host, allowing you to have as much space or community as you'd like. I felt like we were visiting a beloved Aunt! The main house is full of life and art and books, you're encouraged to politely make yourself at home. Lynn was available for anything we needed and her conversation left our souls feeling nourished. The home and property are a working creation: mound gardens being built, meals being prepared, and creative beauty happening all around! The animals are happy and healthy, as are the people, we got to meet a few helpers and Lynn's kind son. We stayed in the Boho bell tent and slept incredibly well, heated blanket and everything else you might need was thoughtfully provided. If you need anything, just ask, Lynn's only a text or phone call away or found tending to the kitchen or caring for a person/animal/plant. I see some of the reviews here, and I'm saddened for those who can't see the peace and nurturing that Lynn is sharing with her community. Thank you for everything!!

I took down my original review, because the owner responded and It made me rethink a few points that I made and it sounded like she thought we are ungrateful, but we are not. I emailed her telling her this and revised my review. This is my honest opinion.

We stayed here for 3 and 1/2 months for my husband's internship. Lynn and Wes are very nice and accommodating. they made allowances for us so we could cook dinner for ourselves. they even cooked us hamburgers a few of times, but if we had another place we could afford we would have gone there. This place is not up to the cleanliness standards of a bed and breakfast.

-The kitchen is filthy. -The pans they cook breakfast on are caked in black crust that has been there for a while. -Closets and cupboards in the room are full of their stuff. -Other rooms up stairs that we had to move to for a week were full of their stuff, and the bathroom up there never got cleaned for us even though we were told it would be. -Maid Services only comes every 2 weeks and the floors got really dirty. Most food the that they offered us in the fridge was expired. -The owners are gone most of the day and we had to ask for things like toilet paper all the time. -there was no place to put our clothes and things so we lived out of our suitcases and baskets kept on the floor. -the drawers that were provided were small and we could not fit as much as we needed.

The room is good size and having a personal bathroom (which was clean) was nice. The couple are very nice and personable and also accommodate where they can. the wifi was good enough that we could play games over the internet with our friends every other week. If they cleaned up their house and paid more attention to it then it would be a nice place to stay. As it stands though I do not recomend for long stays. I give it a 1 star for cleanliness, and 3 stars for accommodation and friendliness hence the 2...
