Western Motel — Hotel in Scooba

So we are from Dayton Tx and we took a job in Shuqualak Mississippi. We had a room reserved at another motel and they screwed us on it. Well I have called the western every few days for 2 weeks trying to see if they have openings.. everywhere within a 50 miles radius is booked.. let me tell you what these guys did. They are remodeling the motel and they got us a room together within a few hrs, they said we can for sure get u a room for the night so y'all can figure something out. We got here Sunday evening and paid for one night. Well they called me about 10ish that night and said that they were gonna let us stay in this room for a few untill they have another one finished. These 2 guys running this places are absolutely amazing.. they have done everything they can to help us and I can't thank them enough.. if your ever in the area and need a room, I would definitely stay here . 10 out of 10 recomnend .. let me also add that have super hot water and great water pressure. If you like staff walking in your room while standing naked trying to get ready to leave before check out this is the place to stay. 10:35 staff took it upon themselves to use the master key and walk into my room. After getting ready and removing my belongings from the room, I went to the office to complain. The response given was “we check rooms at 10:30.” Please keep in mind check out is 11:00 NOT 10:30!!!!! They refused to refund my money. When speaking to the owner on the phone he stated that the male worker “didn’t mean” to walk into my room. The male worker didn’t knock prior to gaining entry into my room. I travel for work and have stayed in many hotels, this is hands down the worse experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. We stayed in room 202. The room was large and looked recently remodeled . It was clean and comfortable . We had a fridge and microwave .. The lady in the office was very nice and friendly . We were just passing through on the way to Panama City beach .. So glad we found this place . The cost was $58 total tax included and well worth it !The lobby was clean and much nicer than some other motel/hotels. The only negative thing taht I can say is that the room was hot when we arrived and took about 15 minutes to cool down after the air was turned on . Would recommend this place to my family...
