Golden Inn Motel — Hotel in Seagoville

DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE REVIEWS!! This is by far the filthiest place I’ve ever been to. Absolutely disgusting. The room was a nightmare. Roaches, sheets were stained, bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years.. I walked in and walked right back out. The location was creepy. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They offered me to stay in another room, I declined. I felt gross being there. They refused to give me a refund. I’m not sure who’s giving this place even a 1 star, maybe it’s family and friends of the motel staff. You don’t even get what you pay for. This place shouldn’t even be allowed open..I drove 17 hours from Florida just to have to leave and look for another place. ABSOLUTELY...

I have to be very frank. The staff was nice, and sweet, but the place is absolutely filthy. For 55 dollars cash, I got the sweet treat of roaches scuttering about the floors, the bathroom, the shower, some furniture, insects flying about, cigarette burns on the sheets (which looked washed but absolutely filthy by age), the nauseating smell of cigarette smoke, awful/drab colors within, shabby/cracked walls, and overall unacceptable staying conditions. I actually found myself spending more time in my car than the room itself out of not wanting to touch more than I had to. For the price paid for a night, overall awful. My name is Patrick I’m a Car Hauler. This little hotel is run by a very young couple. They do an outstanding job maintaining this small hotel. Looking from the outside it looks like a older hotel but when you go inside, you can tell they have remodeled and it’s very comfortable and accommodating. There’s no continental breakfast or anything like that but the price is right and I feel comfortable here. That’s why I keep coming back.
