After being unable to find anywhere to camp due to Covid, we found a room at this cute little inn on Tomales Bay. The owner/inn keeper Bob was very friendly and left instructions for us for our room because he was out running errands when we arrived. The rooms are immaculately clean and have great views of the bay and Point Reyes National Seashore. It reminded me of going to visit my grandmother's house. It was cozy and had a fireplace and no TV (bonus in my book), but it had wifi, which was nice. Bob brought us a breakfast and coffee/tea tray at 0800 ( they serve breakfast between 0800-0900) and it was the perfect little amount of sweet breads and fruit.

Covid awareness is still very big in Marin Co which was great. Clean, fantastic view of Tomales Bay, very comfortable bed, excellent linens, Bob the owner was very friendly and attentive. Continental breakfast exceeded our expectations. No TV, but it was fun to play some serious cribbage. Great variety of CD's to pick from - all genre's covered, but the dated CD/alarm clock should be updated with a modern unit. There's a small refrigerator, but no microwave of coffee maker. Sunset picture attached and setting full moon early in the AM.

Nice little gem off the coast of Tamales Bay, right next to the PCH. Great views of the Bay, and if you’re lucky enough a fantastic area to stargaze. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are comfy and “homey”. Wi-Fi is available, though do not expect to have reliable cell phone service due to location.

We attended a weekend wedding at Straus Family Farm. This place was less than a minute drive away, across the street and a bit down a small winding road. We stayed two nights. The room was comfy, kind of shabby chic decor. We had the garden room, view of the bay with a small table and chairs, plus two comfy sitting chairs and a fireplace with books and games. CD's as well, if you have something to play them. Fairly large bathroom, small fridge. No tv, but we were not there much. Fun continental breakfast served between 8-9, you fill out a form of what you want and when, and it is delivered to your room. We had delicious coffee, three types of sweet bread, orange juice and a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries. There were also two wine glasses and an opener. Beds were really comfy and had a down quilt. Not fancy, but the convenience of the wedding venue was perfect. Wonderful bakery in Tomales, delicious deli next to it. Dillon Beach a short drive. Nick's Cove a quick drive, as well. Proprietor Bob was friendly and accommodating....

We love this place! Writing this review while overlooking the North Room's gorgeous, utterly peaceful views of Tomales Bay propped up in a mix of pillows and warmed by a little gas fireplace.

It's the perfect romantic getawat and spiritual reset. The water and hills outside our wall of windows are so bright and calm, it's perfectly quiet here with birds and distant surf instead of freeway as background noise.

There's just enough wifi to figure out where to plan a fun day but little enough to prevent Netflix binging when you're supposed to be "unplugged."

GREAT dinner spot nearby: Nick's Cove seafood restaurant - check out the surprise at the end of the pier :)

Beds are ultra comfy, rooms are homey, welcoming. With an easy chair, rocking chair, scrabble board, books, wine glasses & bottle opener so you've got everything you need to cozy in for the weekend with your honey.

I highly recommend the Inn on Tomales Bay to get away, reconnect, unplug and feel happy and refreshed when you...

My boyfriend and I planned a last-minute trip in Point Reyes and called The Inn around 9 PM on a Friday night. John answered and was happy to get us set up with a room that night! We got in around 10:30 PM or so -John has left instructions for me on the door, but he was still up and walked us to the room and explained the ins-and-outs. Our room was charming! Clean, cozy and perfect for our quick stay. The bed was super comfortable and we were greeted by the sunrise over the bay in the morning! Next, we were greeted by coffee and sweet bread brought to our door. There’s no better way to start the day than sipping coffee looking over the bay in your own private room! We weren’t in town long but we definitely enjoyed our stay. We were so thankful for the warm welcome, especially coming in last minute! John and Lynette, thanks for saving us and making our stay so cozy!...
