Beautiful river with entry ways behind each camp site. The drive there was gorgeous. No phone signal. It's defiantly a good place to go if you're trying to get away from the world. $14/night. Only issue is that my friends and I were at site #1 and went down to check out the river on our first evening there and there was what appeared to be a homeless man bathing in the river right behind our campsite so if you've got little ones I'd keep them close. Maintenance guy did appear to make a visit once a day to restock toilet paper and collect payments.

Edit June 2021: My family loves this campground. It's not far out of town but feels like it is. There are some fun spots for fishing and kids playing in the river. It's not quite as nice as it was a few years ago though. There is no water or dumpsters available. One of the 2 latrines is our of order and the other one doesn't have a locking door. Latrines are awkward enough when no on is walking in on you... It costs $14 a night which I believe is too much for broken latrines an no potable water

Camped for a week mid-July, wasn't packed and I got a great spot very close to the river. The sound of the water was mesmerizing. There was a trail down to a little rocky beach right on the water and the river is very wade-able. Pretty rocks. Biting flies, bring bug spray. Picnic tables and fire rings. Tons of tree cover. 20 minutes from town but feels very remote. 14 dollars a night. Vault toilets.

This was our first time at this campground, and we were very impressed. There are so many good hiking opportunities within minutes, and has a river running through the site. It was clean, safe, the other campers were friendly, and courteous. This is a good camp site for new and experienced campers alike, and features moderately private sleeping areas, metal ringed fire pits with a metal grill for food, has an outhouse with purell hand sanitizer and TP. Also, because this campground is located in the Olympic National Forest it is dog friendly as well! 🐶 (as opposed to the Olympic National Park where dogs are prohibited). Don't miss out on this one, you're in...

This was a really nice spot to camp. Spread out enough from others and the river was good white noise. Not much to do AT this campground, but several hiking trails of varying length down the road. Good spots to hammock. We spent some time in Sequim picking strawberries and hanging out at the beach too. Easy to navigate to.

I gave it three stars because the road was probably a little much for our CMax to handle, and I got nervous scraping the bottom on huge ruts a couple times. The bathroom was clean but smelly and the lock got me stuck in there twice when I couldn't get it to open for a solid minute. I just had someone come guard it and left it...
