I’ve been coming here for 4yrs, because I have to bring grandma. It’s her socializing time, she’s been coming 30+ years. Before when it wasn’t a casino, and just a bingo hall. Both of us used to have fun, even when losing we had fun. It used to be packed all the time, now it’s dead 6 days a week. Sunday is the only day it’s busy like how it used to be during the weekdays. Sunday is slow compared to how it used to be on Sundays. I used to tell people how fun it was and they should go, now I tell them don’t waste your time. You don’t even have fun losing anymore, they keep messing with people’s points and how you earn. What you get for free play is always different and if you notice somethings not right with your points/free play they say “I don’t know, and some bs excuse” and you’re just screwed. All their regulars and high spenders are now going to blackbird bend casino and the hard rock. If you want to have fun playing and losing, with a better chance to win a little. Avoid Winnavegas it’s not worth your time or gas going. You won’t win anything and you won’t even have fun losing. Grandma doesn’t enjoy it now and goes to the other ones once in awhile which says a lot. It’s been like this the last 2-2.5 years. Whomever is running the slots, market, and GM need to be fired or learn more how to keep from running a business into the ground. They keep going like this they’ll be forced to closed which was what they were looking at last year. Because of losing business, all because of the new people’s changes. So if you want to have fun losing and better chance of winning anything don’t go here! Go to blackbird bend, or the hard rock. Those both also give you better points and rewards with less spending then at Winnavegas. When grandma passes I’ll never step foot in this place again, before I would have just for memory sake. I’m also not one to really go to casinos. I just have to go because again that’s grandma’s (101yrs old) fun and socializing. I would give this place no stars but you have to give at least one star. The store and regular staff are nice and friendly, but that’s all that’s good about it. Anyone in charge, and making decisions should be fired though. I think I’ll start dropping grandma off, and going somewhere else versus spending my money there. Horrible place now and not fun and low chance of winning anything. You can put $20-$60 in a slot and do the min bet .30-.50cents spins and never trigger free spins/plays, and bonus games nothing. Maybe get .30-.60 cents win here and there like every $5. you spend that’s about it. If you do trigger anything most of the time it’s not even worth it under $5 sometimes under $1 win. Again unless you like to not enjoy your time playing and being bored while losing don’t waste your time, money, and gas. It’s not worth it, go to blackbird bend or the hard...
Read moreWe go her almost every Friday night & it's OK! It definitely get less busy after their give-aways, which tells you a lot of ppl go just for that. I usual see many ppl just sitting at machines waiting for their name to be called which is frustrating when you want to play. We've also noticed their machines seem to have become a lot "tighter"in the last year. We've gone there regularly because they had a good buffet, which is now closed 2 nights a week, our cards don't work in every machine so we don't even use them at times - this our weekly amts have gone down (disappointing cause we're not only still playing there, but LOSING more!) But it just seems like the machines we regularly play either rarely win or don't pay out as well. We've been trying other casinos lately & finding better payouts, plus better buffets/food choices. WinneVegas had a great PR director a few years ago who was present & visited with patrons - made you feel welcome & appreciated, as well as came up with a variety of fun games & events. Not so much anymore - seems to be fighting events most of the time for entertainment! And we're casual ppl looking for a night or two of enjoyment out, but we've talked the past few month that WinneVegas doesn't seem to have the atmosphere it used to & when you win every once in a while - - it gives you that desire to come back again! I can't seem to remember seeing any posting of their payout percentage, but it has to be more in comparison to other casinos! Even people at doors aren't as friendly or any staff in the casino - never speak to you. We've had terrible service at the cafe & almost feel like we are a bother to staff who are there! It was nice when they had friendly people greating you or even walking around making you feel welcome or appreciating you being there. Plus loosening up machines would also help because after all - winning once in a while does encourage you to play more! But, as an example, when you take $100 or $200 in for a night of entertainment & play 50 cents or $1 - and you are done in one hour because you never won anything at any game, it's not much of a night out. If you win a little here & there & can use that money over 2-3 hours, I'm fine with that! I'm looking for the evening out, not just...
Read moreEverything is always clean when we visit which is a huge positive for me. Don't visit often, but when I do it's for Bingo. I wish Bingo was more affordable. The food in the Bingo Hall is surprisingly great but would be nice if they had more snack foods. We all love the fried foods!
The floor staff is always super friendly that I have encountered. The food counter staff, not so much. I had to ask for a cup to put Ranch in for my cheeseballs and they seemed annoyed (why don't they serve them with Ranch anyway... that's weird... we had to ask my boyfriend to go back up and ask for some. Then I had to go up a third time and ask for a condiment cup. They looked genuinely confused when I asked and were wanting to give me an actual cup (which I would have made work if they didn't have condiment cups). How else do you eat Ranch with cheeseballs though? Hahaha. I don't get it. Do people pour Ranch on them these days? 🤔 Same with the jojos, we had to ask for sour cream.
One other minor inconvenience we encountered. The rules state that you should limit talking, etc. so that other players can hear and focus on the game. I'm not usually bothered by it, I'm pretty good at multi-tasking. My boyfriend, on the other hand, has a hard time focusing with music playing. There was a person a couple tables away that was playing Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion pretty loudly on their cell phone. We had to wait until a break to move, but ended up moving away from them. Then someone in the kitchen started playing music. It didn't last long, thankfully, so we stayed put. I know the floor walkers heard the cell phone music because they walked around it multiple times. And nobody wants to be "that customer", that's what staff is for. But my boyfriend was already struggling to keep up on the game going fast and was getting so flustered with the music. I just kept hoping someone else would say something.
Overall, not many places in the area have Bingo, so I appreciate it. I would love to see more special events and better pricing. And more kindness behind the food counter. But other than that, all is well! Also bring back the free fountain pop machine in...
