Was in town for one night for a work related service call. Stayed here since there were minimal options nearby. The other place(s) didn’t look very inviting/promising and didn’t have the best reviews. My stay was ok. Bed was comfy, sheets were nicely made on the bed, and room seemed to be reasonably clean. It was quiet with no excessive noises from nearby or other rooms. Overall not a bad place to stay for a few nights or so. However, my room smelled rather musty upon initially walking in — it was coming from the bathroom likely from the drain pipes not properly venting or maybe needing cleaning as that seemed to be the main source of the poor smell. There were clean towels but absolutely no soaps available in my room, not even a simple hand soap for washing your hands at the bathroom sink! Can’t say I’ve ever been to a modern hotel that didn’t even supply at least a hand soap at the sink. The shower was also rather poorly lit and might make some feel claustrophobic with the way it’s laid out by being closed off and in a corner with a fairly narrow entrance. There also were no USB ports in the wall outlets or on the lamps surprisingly — once again any other modern/updated hotel I’ve been to has had at least a couple USB ports available on the outlets or the lamps for phone charging. The pool and spa were out of service (however this was disclosed ahead of time on their website which was appreciated to know that). The counter staff weren’t the best or most courteous. They weren’t rude but they weren’t the most helpful and didn’t seem to take pride in top notch customer service. The person who was there at checkout was a bit more personable than the one who checked me in though at least. When I checked in I was not directed to where to find my room as most other hotels will tell you automatically which direction/hallway to take to your room. Breakfast was small with not a lot of options. There was no do not disturb sign to put on the door either like any other hotel I’ve been to. One stairway was also closed due to construction, I was not advised of that during check in nor were there any signs posted in the halls for advanced warning — having been in the fire service myself this is a major safety concern to me, as it leaves only one stairwell available for use in the event of an emergency evacuation where the elevator can/should not be used. This could easily cause congestion and confusion as well as delays for anyone who might travel to the closed stairway not knowing it can’t be used until they would reach the closed door which had a piece of paper taped to it. I understand construction is necessary for building maintenance/upkeep, but having proper notice for an evacuation plan would be useful. The hotel right next door has a laughably small pool so I opted not to stay there either, but when checking in a staff member had a shirt with both hotel names on it which leads me to believe they’re both owned and/or managed by the same company. Overall not the worst place to stay and still seemed much better than the other choices up the road. Could’ve been better though, too. However all the issues I had are issues that could easily be fixed for future guests of management takes the appropriate actions and attention. If I’m back in the area I likely would still stay at this one again if I needed to stay a night or more for work, but I would come more prepared next time with things like extra soaps even if it’s for just one night and plan better for a breakfast meal elsewhere.

Nice motel, but it is slowly falling apart, it’s sad to have to watch the employees have to work around outdated machines. The office chair in my room was completely destroyed when I arrived but the employee Mindy was kind enough to find one to exchange it out with. The employees at this place make the motel worth staying at. The breakfast has been under served every morning leaving anyone that shows up later then 6am SOL, I gave a 50$ for incidentals and it’s been over a month and it was still not been returned to my account. But not once not twice but 3 times. The picture I took is the stair case going to the 2nd floor, but this sums up the operation going on here soon enough this motel will be run down and dragged out because the owners want to suck every penny they can out of the establishment, bringing the whole program down with them.

No breakfast, no coffee, no hottub, no time for customers. We went down mid breakfast time and quickly realized there were no plates, eggs, bacon, gravy, bagels or coffee. After asking for plates and the remaining food items, the front staff worker immediately directed me to her "manager" since my simple questions were just too taxing, I suppose. After a back and fourth about the advertised items from their website, everything listed and requested, they did not have. In addition, he was not willing to do anything to rectify the problem, and on top of it all, he told me to walk to the hotel next door for coffee in the middle of a wind and rain storm. So if you love loud slamming doors at all hours of the night, and a rude staff that do not/cannot provide listed services, then this is the place for you!

Our stay was from 7/1-6/2025. The room was clean and most employees helpful. The hotel is undergoing renovations. Hotels.com does not mention this. Next to Little Missouri is Teddy's lodge & restaurant. The staff is shared with Teddy's. Laundry facilities are at Teddy's. We had a non-working Keurig coffee maker. Told management about this on day 2 - on day 5 we rec'd a new coffee maker after several complaints. The walk-in shower was beautiful - however - absolutely no grab bars. Safety features are not a consideration. We were told the room would be cleaned (trash, towels, etc) every 2 days- on the 3rd day we asked for clean towels and questioned having the room refreshed. We were told we had to request this and then we would be put on a cleaning list which we did but still the cleaning was not done as we didn't appear on the list! |I canceled our reservation at another hotel without a pool. ($86 per night vs $126 per night). I called before booking this hotel and was told YES they have a pool. They do have a pool but it has not been working for 2 yrs and repair costs are too expensive! So closed for maintenance is permanent! We were obviously very disappointed and did not feel we got what we paid for.|I would suggest they offer fewer rooms in both Little Missouri and Teddy's so the limited staff is able to service both.|We would not stay here again nor would we recommend this to anyone else. Just normal expectations were not met - We have stayed in several hotels the last few years - all undergoing some form of renovations and never...

Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff is not the most knowledgeable and competent. We had someone try to come into our room at 10:30 at night without reason. The front desk clerk that checked us in despite us telling her we didn't have reservations, thought we booked our room on overbook.com whatever that may be, possibly that the hotel was overbooked. The front clerk attempted to keep my credit card and had to be asked to return it to me. She was far from friendly and seemed almost bothered. What I find even more odd is the fact that they asked for drivers licenses from my husband and I and made copies. What happened to privacy policies????

If this wasn't bad enough, the next morning at checkout didn't go much better. Apparently, the computer systems were glitchy and the manager wanted to speak with us. Would have been great, had she of been around to have the conversation! I clearly remember giving a contact number to the fornt desk clerk at check in,, she could have called..The front desk clerk wanted me to fill out paperwork which included my credit card number. All I can say is do I look that stupid? According to the night auditor this was to protect me from being double charged. By now I'm thinking I shouldn't be charged at all! By the way where was my complimentary hot breakfast? Cancelled due to Covid, perhaps? Would have been nice to know that.

To finish my review, would I recommend the hotel, probably not unless the staff can get their acts together and take some hospitality...
