Shenandoah Yurt — Hotel in Shenandoah

5 of us (2 adults, 3 small kids) and our dog spent the weekend here, and it was fantastic. The yurt is very cool, modern, and looks almost new. The rental operation is extremely well organized and responsive. All the important info is very clearly laid out. It had everything we needed. We did the archery, and the process to unlock it was very smooth. Drove to Luray and walked on the greenway, also did the caverns, all of which exceeded expectations. One thing: the last bit of road to the yurt is for real gravel and steep, so we were glad we followed the advice and brought a 4x4 truck. Awesome! We stayed for two nights and regret not extending for another night or two! It's worth every penny. I booked from their website (it's usually cheaper so make sure you do the same).

Best experience was mountain biking! It was snowing and the streets weren't safe at all yet the bike were extremely durable on the (wet and muddy) streets! We also loved going to Broad Porch coffee at Luray (20 min away) and waking in that nice little town while drinking our coffee (it's literally 2 blocks so don't spend more than an hour there).

This experience was like none other! The yurt itself is absolutely stunning and equipped with every single thing you could ever imagine - including farm fresh goodies and games to snuggle up with on cozy nights in. The hot tub was incredible and the bonfire made for the perfect night.
