Cabin Fever Resort — Hotel in Sheridan Township

Our family owns a cottage nearby, and recently we had a big family gathering - our cottage didn't have enough beds for everyone, we decided to rent a few cabins at Cabin Fever for the weekend. These are pretty rustic little log cabins, but that is definitely part of the charm here! Everything was clean and tidy. The foot rinsers at the entryway to each cabin is a particularly smart idea. They do a great job of maintaining a very nice beach area with boats, kayaks, and other water activities. Our 4 year old also loved the playground. The lake is great because it's all sports, but it's practically never busy, and everyone is respectful of each other. The only downside is that there isn't any wi-fi/internet so we couldn't use our baby monitor. Overall we had a great experience, and I would definitely recommend...

We had the Absolutely Best Family Vacation Ever! The Cabins were warm, inviting, & welcoming with every convenience thought of & supplied. The beach was spotless with white sand. There was a very long dock you could fish off of & some nice fish were caught while we were there! There were kayaks, row boats, & paddle boats, tubes available at no cost to Cabin Renters. You could tie your own jet ski's or boats up if you had them, no problem. They also have another dock just a short distance away, also. Pets are welcome. There is a very nice playground for the kids, room for horse shoes, and other yard games. On the 4th of July, they had an Awesome Fireworks Display right on their Beach! It just has a "come on in, you are now part of the family" feeling to their Resort! We already signed up for this...

This place is horrific!!!! Broken glass everywhere!!!! I personally cut my foot open on the glass. The owners will not leave you alone they will be in your business as long as you are there. They don’t believe they have to do basic clean up after a stay (very similar to what hotels are required to do) and will put false charges on your credit card once you leave.
