Our stay at the Copperstone inn was wonderful. We rented the whole Inn for our wedding in April and all of the rooms were beautiful especially the Queen Ann suite. The staff was very friendly and gave each couple a tour of the inn before showing them their rooms. During the night there is no staff at the inn only a security guard on the grounds. We were able to stay up and have a great time at the downstairs bar area and grill on the outdoor grill for the first night we stayed. In the morning we had breakfast at two different times so that the girls were separated from the guys. The staff was great and accommodating for breakfast and even offered to pack the breakfast for us for later. Since most of the bridesmaids were staying at the Inn we had hair and makeup come to the house and we all sat around drinking wine and getting ready. The staff was great at accommodating the little kids that needed their food heated up and allowed us to use their kitchen to heat up hotdogs and mac & cheese. The photos at the Inn were perfect from the Queen Ann room and balconies to the lower level brick hallway. We had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to renting the Inn again for our 5 year...
Read moreGORGEOUS PLACE. Fantastic rooms. Great ambiance. So why the low score?Because having an expensive wedding at the adjoining Pavilion didn't guarantee a room for bride & groom's wedding night unless your want to spend several thousand to reserve ENTIRE Inn! Otherwise your have to wait until a couple months before wedding to reserve single room and take chances that one will be available. Then you HAVE to take any room you reserve for both Friday AND Saturday nights, when you most likely only want it for one night. So maybe let an out of state family member use it on the night you won't need it? Nope, not allowed. And if your guests coming from out of state can't make it there to check in until after dinner, they better be prepared to pay extra for every hour later they arrive! I rented three rooms, was there any break offered for that? No. So many rules that are just not geared toward customer service, but merely for benefit of the bottom line. Too bad, because staying there was nice, but could have been absolutely out...
Read moreWe were searching for a quiet, romantic place to get away from everything for a few days and stumbled upon The Copperstone Inn quite by accident. What a wonderful surprise! From the moment we were first greeted at the front door to our final "good-byes" on Sunday, our every want and need was provided for (including amazing vegan breakfasts made especially for me!). Saundra is an amazing cook/chef, most, gracious innkeeper and an extremely nice person to be around. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners of the inn (Chrissy) who was also a very kind, down-to-earth person - someone you could imagine having a glass of wine with! Our room, Sundance, had everything you'd hope for to make a romantic getaway one of our...
