Excellent haunted attraction. Locals seem to know about this gem, but for people an hour or more away it's a diamond in the rough that they ought to check out. The actors and staff here actually go above and beyond to try to make sure that every customer has a good experience, and they take pride on people returning every year. In the past it was a shorter haunt but it's so reasonably priced that even then you got more than your money's worth. In recent years they keep expanding it and making it better, and it was able to compete with all the big haunts even 10 years ago before they began all the expanding. It probably has the best hayride I've been on in Western Pennsylvania.
Even if you're not into the haunts, it's worth coming along just for the food. They have a wood fire pizza shack that's better than most of the pizza shops I've tried in the area. I was only going to take one star off, but the thought of that much waste is so saddening that I'm going with two. Sorry Cheeseman, you're beautiful to look at, but wasteful and careless...
Read moreI have attended the Cheeseman's Fright Farm Haunt for a couple years, and this year is by far the best! The corn maze can easily turn you around, the fog maze was phenomenal, and the ghostly silhouettes were something very unique. I definitely enjoyed the interactions with the Coffin Salesman, he definitely was the right man for the job! Beware of Michael Myers, and don't forget to hug the "Free Hugs" Clown while venturing through the haunt. The tractor is still a favorite part of the hayride! So, what are you waiting for...stop reading this review and get to the Fright Farm...just come hungry and enjoy their pizza and pumpkin pie....
