Me and my boyfriend and our dog stayed in a Yurt back in September, and we both LOVED it. The yurt was adorable. I had never even heard of one until we stayed here. It got a little chilly at night, but we brought heavy blankets just for that reason. We loved it so much we decided to add another night to our stay. They even have a dog park for your four legged babies. That’s so convenient since my pup loves to run around. He loved it, even though he never had a friend in there to play with. It’s still nice even for a single dog. The staff was all very friendly and courteous since I assume the place is family owned. They even live on site with a horse and a donkey, which are right next to the yurts. We got to pet them and feed them apples. I’d give them more than 5 stars if you could just for that. The store there has everything you need, and a little more. The only thing I disliked was that the store closed so early. But other than that, everything was great. There is some awesome scenic places to visit nearby, too. There’s an old bridge right down the street that is worth the short walk to go and see. There is also a couple state parks nearby, too. My favorite was McConnells Mill State Park. We visited the mill, Hell’s Hollow, Cleland rock, and other sights in the park that is absolutely worth going to. It’s very scenic and absolutely beautiful. Rose Point is by far the best campground I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was friendly, the other campers were friendly, and it was just a beautiful place all around. If we go back, we will definitely stay in a yurt again. It was a great experience and I absolutely recommend staying in one. 10/10. UPDATE: Me and my bf and my dog stayed again in a yurt this year, and it was just as awesome this year as it was last year. We even reserved the small cabin for next year right before Labor Day so the pool will still be open. I love this place!...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Rose Point Park in our spacious 40-foot motorhome during the beautiful summer month of August 2025. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the park's immaculate grounds and charming aesthetic. The vibrant greenery and well-tended landscaping created a picturesque setting for relaxation.

We chose this RV park primarily because we needed a place to get a good nights sleep, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The campsites were clean and well-maintained, offering a rustic charm that enhanced our camping experience.

The on-site store was impressively stocked with a wide array of supplies and essentials, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. The staff members greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requirements. And oh my gosh the dog park is beautiful!

As we explored the area, we noticed several other campgrounds and RV parks, but none compared to the aesthetic and upkeep of the Rose Point Park. Its beauty and maintenance truly set it apart.

Without a doubt, we are looking forward to returning to this wonderful campground on our next adventure.

Thank you, to the team at Rose Point Park!

Best regards, Dave &...

All I can say is WOW! This is a family owned campground. They really take pride in this place. WiFi worked great. Laundry facilities great. I did not need the shower house but did swing into take a look. That also was very clean and updated. If you have little ones they have a nice kids park. There is a 4x4 truck made out of wood with slide coming out tailgate that is a must see. The owners were great personable people. You could tell they truly wanted your stay to be comfortable. It was southern hospitality in the north. Their daughter and son in law were there at all hours to help you. They have a site manager that was a busy body. He was always busy. If you have dogs they have a fabulous dog park. We travel due to my husbands work. We only got to stay for 3 weeks. I was sad to leave. Phone service worked great. We had a phone booster and had no problems making and receiving calls. I hope we get to come back to the area. I would stay again for sure. Happy travels...

If you want a fun campground getaway just a short drive from Pittsburgh, check out Rose Point Park. We stayed in a yurt and loved it. Our yurt slept 4 and came with a kitchen, bathroom, and AC. It’s also pet-friendly. There are cabins, yurts, RV and tent sites available. And there is so much to do at camp… Pool Basketball court Organized camp activities Playground Arcade Slippery Rock Creek access Golf cart rentals Pickleball And more! 5 minutes from McConnells Mill State Park and Living Treasures. ❤️ #rosepointpark #visitlawrencecounty #visitpa #yurt #camping

Not a lot of woods where the hook up sites are so it didnt quite feel like "camping" to me. I like woods and ponds personally all around me to get that true "feel" of camp. They are pretty close to McConnell Mills and Slippery Rock Creek-both fun places to explore while you're there. The restrooms leave a lot a lot to be desired as the hot water in the shower didnt last long at all for my shower and the water in the sink sprays out in such a way that its difficult to wash your hands or anything without getting yourself wet. Smaller campground but would be a nice place for those with younger children as they did have a lot of things for the younger kids and there is an inground pool too which was nice. Over all it wasn't a bad place to camp but I just prefer other camp sites.
