My stay in this enchanting yurt nestled in the heart of Idaho’s awe-inspiring outdoors was nothing short of a dream come true. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the serene beauty of the location. It was a sanctuary during one of the most magical winters. The yurts are tucked under towering and rugged, snow-kissed mountain peaks. I was surrounded by air imbued with a crisp freshness and the hushed beauty of nature in its dormant splendor. This is the place city dwellers like myself can only fantasize about.

The yurt itself was a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Contrary to the very few, and misplaced negative reviews I had encountered before booking, the accommodations were nothing less than immaculate. The space was meticulously clean, the bedding sumptuous, and the furnishings thoughtfully curated to reflect both comfort and style.

One review I read complained about the “lack of Wi-Fi.” To those individuals, I humbly suggest staying home with their devices. The very essence of this retreat is its ability to disconnect you from the frenetic pace of modern life. Besides, with the Milky Way stretching across the night sky above, who needs streaming services?

The outdoor amenities were equally exceptional. The fire pit was perfect for gathering under the stars, and the nearby hiking trails offered breathtaking vistas for snowshoers like myself.

Wow! A Perfect 5/5 Star Yurt Experience! Our family of four (including two kids) had an absolutely fantastic stay at this yurt lodging! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and neat everything was. The owner clearly takes great pride in maintaining the space. We were also delighted by the thoughtful amenities provided. Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay was readily available. The bunk bed and the two additional beds were a huge plus for our family, offering plenty of sleeping space and making the yurt feel surprisingly spacious. Having researched and stayed at dozens of glamping sites, I can confidently say that this yurt ranks right at the very top of our list. It truly stands out for its comfort and quality. Another huge advantage of this location is its incredible proximity to Lava Hot Springs, just a quick 7-minute drive away. This made it the perfect base for our hot springs visit. It was wonderful to relax and soak in the springs, knowing we had a clean and comfortable yurt to return to for a great night's sleep. From my first call with the owner to the last photo I took with my partner in front of the yurt—basking in the glorious snow—I can confidently say this was one of our best experiences in Lava Hot Springs.

The yurts absolutely exceeded our expectations! You can’t capture all their charming details in photos or videos (though I tried). One of my favorite parts was the heated floors—I couldn’t stop wiggling my toes on them, lol.

It’s clear the yurts were designed, decorated, and maintained with the traveler’s experience in mind. We stayed in the Japanese-themed yurt, cozied up while snow fell outside. It was truly magical.
