We had our wedding at Lone Moose this summer and it was truly the best experience. The venue is beautiful, and everyone was so helpful and nice. We had the ceremony outside on the lawn and the reception in the Lodge. We are from out of state, and it really gave our guests the Alaskan feel. The river nearby is so blue and was a great spot for photos. The venue had lots of complimentary items to use and that was so helpful. I would highly recommend Lone Moose for any event needs, and we hope to visit in the future to stay at their cabins! Thank you for making our wedding a day to remember!

We have been here all season. The cabins are decorated in Alaska style, clean, and well stocked. The grounds are landscaped beautifully. There is a view of Mt. Redoubt in the distance and easy, quick access to the Kenai River for Salmon fishing. The fish walks make it easy to get to the river and the fishing is excellent. Kings, reds, pinks, and silvers all swim upstream to breed and die. The owner and the manager are both really great and easy going. It's a quick drive to town, though it feels more rustic. It's a nice middle spot to go to both Seward and Homer.

Nice Place/Great People. I met GG (Gorgeous Grandmother) and family in Round Top, Texas and ended up at their lodge in Soldotna, Alaska. This place is family owned and GG (Gorgeous Grandmother) owns it and the family runs it. Really enjoyed our stay there and the fishing in the Kenai River. My kids loved the tiny cabin and the yurt. This was a bucket list trip. I highly recommend supporting these people which I will be Salmon fishing with them again July/August 2021. Thank you again for the memories!! Lewis Family

The Lodge at Lone Moose was hands down the best venue I could have imagined for our wedding day. Daniel and his team were incredibly helpful, responsive and communicative from day one. Daniel is one of the kindest and most genuine people and truly wants you to have the best day. He strives to take as many things off your plate as possible. When we arrived, Josh was super helpful getting us settled and answering any questions we had. Our guests loved staying in the cabins, and we have had tons of comments about how much everyone loved the venue. We even had friends plotting to use the venue in the future for their vow renewal! It was perfect through and through. There are tons of amenities included that you'd otherwise have to buy or rent - signage, plates, silverware, tables, chairs, candles, umbrellas, bar, freezer, heat lamps, etc. The venue itself is already so beautiful, so it doesn't take much in the way of extra decor. Daniel and his team sprinkled all sorts of extra help and kind words throughout the experience and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough. We will be back to stay at the cabins and fish, and to celebrate future...

My husband and I stayed in a cabin for 9 nights during a retreat event. It was the ideal venue for our gathering, conducive to socializing but still private enough to make everyone happy. ||Our cabin and the lodge rate 5 stars all the way! The whole property is beautiful, with rustic yet luxurious Alaskan digs. The owners, Daniel and Chrissy, and staff went above and beyond to make sure our event went well. They were fabulous -- attentive, caring, quietly working in the background to make our event a success. They even hosted a wonderful cookout at the beginning and again at the end of our event.||The location of Lone Moose Lodge is ideal -- nestled in the quiet woods on the bank of the amazing Kenai River, yet convenient to everything. ||We highly recommend Lone...

We rented the whole Lone Moose Lodge facility (lodge, cabins, and RV/camping spots) for our fall wedding weekend this year, and it was an absolute dream. They have everything you could possibly need for a wedding - EVERYTHING! The facility and surrounding area is beautiful, you can tell they take pride in this venue. We loved that our guests got to stay at this place for the whole weekend and that there was something for everyone (games, fishing from the bank, fire pits, etc.), it makes for a very unique experience. Beyond all that, Daniel, Chrissy, Danika and Josh were so fantastic to work with. They all were so responsive, helpful and made us feel very welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough - one of my all...
