My husband, Rick, did the research for this trip, and he nailed it! I would go back to the Inn in a heartbeat. We stayed in the Juniper and Manzanita rooms, which were both comfortable and charming. I slept like a baby on the beds, loved the showers, and the towels were so soft.||Our rooms and patios overlooked the vineyards, which made us feel as if we were in France. Ooo la la! And eating our meals out on the deck was such a calming experience. I didn’t realize how much I needed to escape city distractions until we came here. ||The owners couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. Before we arrived, Jan, one of the owners, asked Rick what kind of breakfast she could provide for him. He was looking forward to some sugar-free yummies, and I am vegan, so he asked her if she could provide anything for me. She bought us some yogurt and made delicious muffins for each day we were there.||We ate dinner once in King City at a restaurant called Guadalajara. Loved my burrito! Great service. We bought food for two dinners at Safeway to take to the Inn, so we didn’t have to drive into town more than once. We cooked up the food on the large BBQ grill on our deck, and it was perfect. We purchased a bottle of Chardonnay from the hosts, and Rick admitted that it was the best Chardonnay he had ever tasted. (Take note, wine drinkers.) ||On Saturday evenings, Jan and Jon host a wine and cheese (and other plant-based goodies) soiree for the guests. Happily, we made it back to the Inn in time to participate. (We had been at the Park riding our bikes.) The little gathering was a perfect way to get to know them both and hear stories about the beginnings of their winery and Inn. Of course, attendance was optional.| |We arrived on a Wednesday evening and left on Sunday morning. That was just enough time to spend "chillin'" at the Inn on their beautiful grounds and visiting both the East and West End of Pinnacles. We have been to many National Parks, but hadn’t heard of Pinnacles. I’m so happy that Rick did his research to find the Park AND, of course, the Inn. I highly recommend visiting BOTH!! And tell...
Read moreI’ll start with the positives. It is super close to the Pinnacles National Park. It is only 10 miles away from the west entrance of the park. It is a very quiet location. The rooms are spacious and the inside of the rooms are clean.
Now for the negatives: there is zero cell reception on the property unless you have Verizon. The office was closed most of the time so it’s hard to let them know when you need something. They ask you to text them when you need something but you can only text off the property about 20 minutes off away. They leave “breakfast” in your room the first night which includes coffee, OJ, milk, danish, banana and orange. The second night we only got overly sweet danishes. It was more like donuts, we got a bear claw and a Cinnabon roll. We asked for a different breakfast for the last morning like yogurt, eggs, or fruit. They said no to our request. They stated that they provided guest with a list of breakfast items they provide beforehand and that we must have overlooked it. I included the messages and emails as reference. We are healthy people that like to hike and eat healthy food hence why we stayed next to the national park. We paid $1,200 for 3 nights but the service and breakfast were awful. We ended up buying food/ breakfast for the last day. Best Western provides a better breakfast than this so called bed and breakfast. The owner kept making excuses that she was ill and had a family member take over the inn. Well we paid for a service and expect quality. Here the costumer is not always right. I read a previous customer experience and they had a similar situation where they only got breakfast on...
Read moreWe planned a trip to visit Pinnacles National Park and discovered the closest lodging option to be the Inn at the Pinnacles Bed and Breakfast. Located approximately 20 minutes south of King City and situated near the West entrance of the National Park, we opted to stay for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this inn.||The inn offers a limited number of rooms, each with its own private deck or patio. Our room was particularly charming, surrounded by French lavender that swayed in the breeze. The inn is situated atop a hill, offering panoramic views of rolling vineyards.||The room was exceptionally cozy and elegantly appointed. It was a spacious room with a comfortable bed. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the (gas) fired free-standing stove, which provided ample warmth throughout the room. The room also featured a refrigerator, small sink, microwave oven, and coffee/tea service. Upon check-in, we were delighted to receive a basket for breakfast, which included freshly baked pastries, orange juice, milk, and yogurt, as well as fresh fruit from the refrigerator.||Outside, each unit is equipped with a gas-fired barbecue grill. Additionally, there is a communal patio with heat lamps and a swimming pool that overlooks the vineyards. Unfortunately, the pool was not yet open during our visit in March due to cooler temperatures. The hosts were friendly anWd provided prompt communication in addressing any inquiries we may have had.||We will undoubtedly reserve another stay at the Inn at the Pinnacles B&B in the future to indulge in a pampered experience amidst the beauty of...
