ZERO STARS ARE APPROPRIATE FOR THIS MOTEL: There was nothing I liked about the property horrible customer service with deceptive advertisement. The pictures you see on Expedia look nothing like the property really looks false advertisement. In addition to the property's look, the staff/owner was very rude and condescending. She accused me of trying to be dishonest. When asked how many people are with me? Answered 2, meaning myself (1) and 2 others which I thought was clear. But instead, I received a phone call from her (owner unknown) when I answered Hello, she immediately stated: "I'm charging you $11 for the additional person because I asked you how many people were with you and you said 2". Then continued to reprimand me as if I was her child accusing me of being less than honest. I was so outdone by her behavior. Then I called back because the TV in the room wasn't working. A gentleman answered the front desk phone. I begin explaining that the TV wasn't working. Which at that time instead of saying I will have someone come to check it out. He began trying to have me troubleshoot with him over the phone. At that time I had to let him know that I'm not a very technical person if he could please come up to check it out. Once there he was able to fix the TV. I began to ask him "What was the lady at the front desk name?" He immediately stated he couldn't give me that because it was his sister and she was the owner, and he didn't want to get in trouble with her. (Staff/brother would not reveal the owner's name whom I had a rude experience with stating he didn't want to get into trouble with his sister/owner). He asked if there was a problem and if so maybe I could go speak with her husband co-owner because there was no one over her. At this point I decided that I didn’t want any more interaction with staff/owners. I called Expedia and spoke with someone without any customer service understanding. Explaining to him that the $11 was not the issue. It was the way we were being treated or mistreated. Therefore leading me to request to speak with a supervisor at this point. I spoke with a Supervisor at Expedia (Keith) explaining to him my concern with the horrible customer service I was receiving and on top of it paying for. He was able to rectify the problem between the hotel with deceptive advertisement and myself with empathy. He also was able to issue a refund (Pending), and book a new reservation for me with my family with another hotel for without any incident allowing us to enjoy our brief get away. I will definitely be staying at the other Hotel (w/Great Hospitality) when visiting the area...

So me and my friend checkin in the hotel we booked for 10 days because we came for work just across the street. We pay and go in our rooms no problems nothing was said. After 2 days we requested if they would clean the room for us and change linen and towels. Rude shock we were told if we need our room cleaned we need to give a 48hrs notice. Never heard of that before so we requested for towels before the 48hrs for our room to be cleaned. They said we take off the dirty ones and put them outside they will replace them. They didn't we had to shower in the morning and we didn't hav no towels my roommate had to go down stairs to get towels only to be yelled at that we are such an inconvenience. I couldnt believe it. I was shocked that u could bring someone business and they say u are an inconvenience. The lady was very rude but she gav my roommate the towels anyway. After 48hrs and our room was not cleaned. Their card also kept on failing to open the door every time we would go there to ask for another card we would be met by yells and insults of how dumb we are we don't knw how to use the cards. One day my roommate was from work it 7am after a 12hr shift and her card won't open so she went to ask for card goodness she was yelled at and because she had a long shift she didn't wonna argue with the woman she just told her I just need a card to get in the room shower and sleep I dont need your lecture this morning. She didn't stop and didn't even give her a card. My roommate had to come back to work to get my card to access the room we paid for but won't get in coz their card won't work. Wen I came back in the evening I had to pass by the front office to get a card coz we now had one. Goodness gracious she saw me and started you are from this room you guys cannot stay here after your contract you keep on bothering us about your room to be cleaned and for cards. I was shocked and asked her how it is our fault that their cards fail to open the door and how it is our fault to ask for our room to be cleaned. The husband came in and started yelling too and btw he was so loud. At this point I had had enough I told them I didn't pay a room to be yelled at every single day coz of their own issues that they won't sort. I went up and packed my stuff and me and my roommate checked out at 7pm. We were both so done. We got another hotel just 5 minutes away where we get our our room cleaned everyday our card never failed to open the door even one time and have peace of mind after long shifts as nurses. Don't even think of living here especially if you're staying for work youll be in for...

Save yourself!!! I booked online calling prior for rates letting the older woman know I had children. When I booked online I wasn’t aware we needed to change the amount of guests. When I got there I told the lady we had two adults and she asked me if I had kids because she could hear them in the car and I openly told her we did. She let me know it was extra and they wouldn’t normally let five stay but because my kids we so small it was ok. She was rude about it tho and seemed like she was accusing me of lying even tho I was completely honest and paid the difference. When we first got in the room there was a dirty sock in the corner and I called down letting her know and she got defensive like there was no way even though it was clearly not ours. The floors were disgusting the place needed to be dusted so bad like things weren’t being wiped down all the way. There was tape from someone trash on the wall in the bathroom and their were ants in the room. The people in the room next to us talked to us about having the same issues. I let the older woman with white hair know about all the issues I was having and she told me to contact booking because the owners can be very defensive. So I contacted booking and they couldn’t get the owners to agree to discounting my room and told me to call. I talked to “Vick” the male owner I’m assuming and he would not let me get a word in. Accusing me of lying about the number of guests when I clearly didn’t saying he should’ve turned me away. Saying I was lying about the lady telling me to contact booking and saying we poured syrup on the floor when my children didn’t have pancakes or any type of breakfast that required us to even have syrup. I told him he was insane that he realizes people will write reviews about them and he said he is insane that he will write a review about me. What ever that means. We made sure to not leave the room in terrible condition. We took all of our extra trash to the outside trash cans so it wasn’t overflowing for them when we didn’t need to do that. We put all of our towels in piles and were extremely courteous to who ever we talked to. These people won’t listen to your complaints. They will yell and argue back with you and accuse you of so much more. Don’t waste your time. They are not wearing masks or gloves offering hand sanitizer or offering contactless check in. The place isn’t sanitary and the owners are extremely rude. I took pictures of everything in case we need them and we will never be returning. I hope my review can at least save a few people from not going through...

Would not advice anyone to stay here. All though the rooms all clean and pretty much put together nicely, there are some downers that at least for me would make me never want to stay here again. For starters the room ceiling are thin and you can here every single foot step from the apartment above. It that wasn't enough, there is some kind of construction going on right outside the hotel. And it simply goes on until at least 12 am. And guess what? Their complementary breakfast is a complete failure. There are two options of cereal, some cinnamon rolls and coffee. To top that, your obligated to take the food with you and eat it in your room!! Maybe some of these thigs wouldn't bother you, but just keep in mind that if you do come here, you ask to be on the top floor and ask if there's still happening a construction. Plus if you're coming to do tracks on the Yosemite park, you should probably get breakfast some where else.

Ok probably 4 stars is a little bit too high, but I gave 4 because: - The room is clean, a little old but it has everything you would need. - the staff has been kind with me and they gave me lots of suggestions to save money when I would cross Yosemite Pk - the pool is on the 3rd floor on the back side. Clean and well keeped - Wi-Fi is working good - the room has plenty of space for 2 people - you are in Sonora, not in San Francisco and for me the service I had was really good - park is free just close to your room - the price is low respect the quality service I had

We stayed at Country Inn in Sonora, Jamestown on our way back from Yosemite Park. The motel is a decent three-star option for the price. The room was relatively clean — even cleaner than a four-star hotel we had stayed at previously — and towels were provided, though they were a bit small. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was quiet at night, so we slept well without disturbances. There is a pool, but we didn’t use it. The only downside is that they don’t provide a toothbrush or toothpaste. Overall, this motel is comfortable, convenient, and worth its price.
