Spinning Wheel Yosemite Resort — Hotel in Sonora

Such a great property! We stayed in the Crescent Cottage which was so cute and perfect for a couple. The grounds of the property are beautiful and the pool and the hot tub were amazing! They also have a great area along the river and a large float that we were able to lounge on in the river - so relaxing! The location is very close to the park (only about 20 minutes to the Big Oak Flat entrance) and about an hour from Toloumne Meadows and the valley floor. If your main attraction in Yosemite is going to be Glacier Point, this is maybe a bit far but certainly still could be doable. The town of Groveland nearby is very cute with a few good dining options. Yes, the property is on a dirt road but it’s very easily manageable. And yes, they have dogs, but if you’re a dog lover like me it is not a problem! The dogs did not make much noise at all and were very friendly and not at all bothersome. Would definitely come back if we make a trip...

Beautiful property, house, pool, river swimming hole. House comfy (sun house, me and two sons), attractive stone, perfectly stocked, nice touches (coffee beans, charcoal, pool towels), dvds, great bed, easy to cook kitchen and grill. Pool And hot tub and grounds are beautiful and plenty of space for kids to play, explore and run around. A lovely river and swimming hole right on the property. Britney and Matt gave us great Hiking and swimming tips, adorable kids and awesome dogs and a cat, and they went the extra many miles helping us with a flat tire and leaky spare, calling their friends in town, lending us air compressor and giving Is great advice on how to get a new tire so we could get home. No luck getting day passes to Yosemite but thanks to Matt, we found out you could get into hetch hetchy area w out a reservation - stunning drive and hiking. We are going back...

Spinning wheels Yosemite was by far the best vacation rental I have had to opportunity to experience. Me and my wife were very pleased with the cleanliness of the crescent cottage. The amenities were great. It was the perfect getaway from our daily social life. Matt and Britney were the perfect hosts. We are very private people and got what we were looking for. The property was beautiful and spacious and only a few minutes away from Yosemite national park. I would recommend this property to anyone who is interested in a relaxing getaway from their hectic daily life. Thank you Matt and Britney for sharing your wonderful home with us.
